Before ever attempting this diet I suggest considering your vitamin D levels.

because if people believed it, they'd have to be accountable for their own actions and choices.

Starvation has been suggested as typical death in the paleolithic, such selection pressures increase in alelle frequency, hence there efficiency of lipid storage, and perhaps the following benefits suggested by research:

Research suggests there are major health benefits to caloric restriction. Benefits include reduced risks of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, insulin resistance, immune disorders, and more generally, the slowing of the aging process, and the potential to increase maximum life span.[3] According to Dr. Mark P. Mattson, chief of the laboratory of neurosciences at the US National Institute on Aging, fasting every other day (intermittent fasting) shows beneficial effects in mice as strong as those of caloric-restriction diets,[4] and a small study conducted on humans at the University of Illinois indicates the same results [5] According to the US National Academy of Sciences, other health benefits include stress resistance, increased insulin sensitivity, reduced morbidity, and increased life span.[6][7] Long-term studies in humans have not been conducted. However, short-term human trials showed benefits in weight loss. The side effect was that the participants felt cranky during the three week trial. According to the study conducted by Dr. Eric Ravussin, "Alternate-day fasting may be an alternative to prolonged diet restriction for increasing the life span".[8]

Adherence to Greek Orthodox fasting periods contributes to an improvement in the blood lipid profile, including a decrease in total and LDL cholesterol, and a decrease in the LDL to HDL cholesterol ratio. A statistically insignificant reduction in HDL cholesterol was also observed. These results suggest a possible positive impact on the obesity levels of individuals who adhere to these fasting periods.[9]

I personally experienced many benefits from consistent intermitted fasting practices, which has also improved my overall physiology, meaning it entails my overall function, such as cognitive and sports perfomence has also increased.

@RexRed,
Who is dumb enough to eat red meat every day?
Even hunter-gatherers rotate their diet with poultry, fish, shellfish and insects.

@RexRed,
As a physician whose emphasis is dietary nutrition, I have to tell you this is seriously dangerous. And I would bet 9 to 10 you will gain the weight back.

Don't get me wrong. I am all for smaller portions, but you need to eat to keep your body going with fresh foods daily! Here is why: When you are starving yourself, your body eats your fat storages. Great right? Wrong. Your body is directly eating pure lard stored by itself to maintain. This will show on the scale, sure. BUT there are organs in your body that have to process the fat your body is eating. Imparticular, your kidneys. Processing so much pure fat all at once is dreadfully harmful to your kidneys. After testing two patients of mine who were on this exact same diet for one month, they had the organ health of a raging alcoholic.

For sustained weight loss. You need to keep your metabolism processing. Eating 4-7 times a day, in very small healthy portions is the way to go.

In your morning. Eat the carbs and protiens you want to consume that day. Eating this in the morning allows you to burn off the things your body shouldn't store more easily.

For mid-snacks I always use carrots or broccoli or small fruits. like some grapes.

Lunch should be the most fruit you intake for the rest of the day. This will help you digest the sugars and carbs in them long enough before you go to bed.

Again a good snack of carrots or peas is reccommended.

And for dinner you should only eat small portions of salad.

Skipping breakfast is a horrible idea, as breakfast jumpstarts your metabolism for the rest of your day, if you want to burn more. Eat breakfast. Eating small, low calorie, low fat, and low sugar portions through the day will give you 10x the results that this diet will give you. And you wont get them in two weeks.

@RexRed,
RexRed is RIGHT - this way of eating absolutely works. It's a type of intermittent fasting - google it.
