@xris,

how can we ever imagine anything more than what our eyes can observe? what is distance ? it is the time between objects , remove the barrier of time and we are all neighbours?When we can not imagine one light year , what is a lifetime of light years , nothing more than the other side of a river without a boat.

But xris we do imagine more than we can see, just think of the weird movie. produced by the imagination of Hollywood moguls

Of course not all we imagine is true, but it is human imagination that led Isaac Newton , with his famous apple to understand gravity, Albert Einstein imagining that he was moving and the whole universe was stationary in relation to him , or the reverse that he sat on a light beam and all this imagination gave us the theory of relativity etc etc

A light year can be a moment or it can be an eternity it is all about perception.
