Lingling, there's a wall in China, I forget the name of it, but it's something like the Prodigious Wall or the Fantastic Wall or maybe The Big Wall of China.

What the heck is the name of that wall?

Ok, ok, I guess you're the real McCoy if you knew that answer. I thought you were Slappy, trying to play a trick on the rest of us.

You passed the test, Lingling.

Welcome, my little Chinese friend

Almond jelly is Chinese....I have had it at dim sum, it is steamed and tasty, and all I can find are instant recipes. I am looking for one that is done from scratch.

I once had a very large cookbook with chinese recipes from different regions, and I would look it up, Cav, but no longer have the book.

It is very nice to see you here on a2k, Lingling.

What are you studying in Scotland?

What would you like to ask us?

What do you miss the most while you are so far away from home?

I am sorry LingLing, I do not know what the Chinese word is for the dessert, but it comes in giant steamers at dim sum, and it is almond-flavoured. There are mixes to make it, but to make it authentically is different. That is what I was curious about.
