Ah. I was going to delete that, but I was too late. The guy on the bicycle is wearing a shirt that says "Pervert." I couldn't enlarge it enough to make it visible.

Oddity time. The top and bottom are different colors, right? The instructions say to hold a finger horizontally in front of your eyes to cover the middle section.

@FBM,
I tried, but my finger will only do vertical.

It causes trouble sometimes.

The optical illusion dress that's divided the internet: Celebrities join fierce debate over whether this frock is white and gold or blue and black... so which colours do YOU see? Colours of two-tone dress have become a topic of debate on social media Some viewers see the bodycon dress as white with gold lace detailing Others see royal blue with black while a few insist the colours change It became internet sensation and was tweeted by stars like Kim Kardashian She sees white and gold, while husband Kanye West sees black and blue #TheDress started trending worldwide on Twitter as discussion went global Dress, made by Roman Originals, appears to actually be black and blue.

The hashtag #TheDress started trending worldwide on Twitter as the debate when global. There have been more than 1 million tweets mentioning the hashtag.

The original photograph of the dress was taken by Cecilia Bleasdale, who bought it for her daughter Grace's upcoming wedding.

She sent the image to the bride-to-be, who shared it with her groom. They were the first people to disagree over the dress's colours.

But when the bride-to-be posted the picture on Facebook, a disagreement erupted over the colour of the outfit: some said it was white and gold, while others insisted it was blue and black.

The debate was forgotten until Caitlin McNeill, a close friend of Grace and her new husband, Keir Johnston, posted the picture on Tumblr days after the wedding.

Ms McNeill, whose band played at the Scottish ceremony, shared the photograph on a fan page dedicated to talent manager Sarah Weichel, who represents YouTube stars.

That page gave it the exposure that sent the dress into the online stratosphere.

While the newlyweds enjoy their honeymoon in Jamaica, their families have been shocked by the coverage over the dress.

Which finger did you try? Never mind. I don't think I want to know...

@edgarblythe,
I didn't read the whole thing, knowing where it was going and impatient this afternoon.

There is a difference between potentially legally grown mj and what some portion of the growers who use state or federal lands and waterways do that are harmful to the environment. I won't accuse all growers. I'm not always up on Humboldt County news, y'know, but read it off and on. I read some article about people trying not to do that.
I do gather there is real disruption and destruction going on, whether by cartel types or freelancers.

My own thought is that people should be able to grow a plant or two in their yard or growlit space. F' the cartels.
I'm not sanguine on it all being commodified, but I suppose that will happen, and might be best for the land.

Never had any of my own, though SandPaw ate the rest of a lid of my then business partner's boyfriend's, back in the '70's, when I smoked it socially. (He was ok, thankfully. Boyfriend was pissed.)
Assuming as I get even older, that I'll run into pain, I'd be likely to want a brownie or two.

Sometimes even I think the U.S. is freaky.

Two-dad babies could soon be a reality
https://richarddawkins.net/2015/03/two-dad-babies-could-soon-be-a-reality/
By Bec Crew

For the first time, scientists have shown that it’s possible for two people of the same sex to create a baby, without the need for outside egg or sperm donation. The most obvious benefits would be for homosexual couples who want to have a child together, but the method could also help couples who have been affected by infertility.

Fairy doors quality control has had to be brought in at Wayford Woods, Crewkerne, Somerset, to curb the profusion of elfin construction.Hundreds of fairy doors have been attached to the bases of trees.It is claimed the doors have been installed by local people so children can leave messages for the fairies.
