Read "The God Delusion". It's been done. The result was that prayer does nothing.

@Wilso,
Yes I've read it ...just wondering if anyone knew of any recent findings and how the believers reconcile this fact.

If people have been praying that Dawkins and his atheist chums will come to their senses, it obviously hasn't worked because Satan has got too tight a grip on them.Wink
If they don't WANT to be saved, not all the prayers in the world can help them.
Waddya say Satan?

"They're MINE!"

Why did you read it? Wasn't the title enough?

People like delusion. Tailors and the ladies' fashion industry do nothing else. Most educational qualifications are a delusion.

Some think the concept "wife" is a delusion.

What are you picking on God for? (As if we didn't know!!)

@Wilso,
How much time do you spend, Wilso, looking for items to use as vehicles on which to adverise your wonderfully compassionate character?

Quote:
For New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and the Northern Territory in 2006–2010, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander infant mortality rate was eight infant deaths per 1,000 live births. This compares with a non-Indigenous infant mortality rate of four infant deaths per 1,000 live births.

Someone I follow put it on twitter. I don't have hours to go looking for things, because unlike you, you ******* worthless dipshit, I have a life. You're amazing spendi. Every time you can't possibly become a more pathetic, ignorant fuckwit, you go and prove me wrong. Any dictionary clIming accuracy, should have a picture of you next to the word arsehole.

I haven't been baptised, it's just a vanity stunt for those who want it.
They think it make them "proper" christians better than anybody else.
What bollox, no wonder people call them "water-worshippers"..Wink

Even Paul got fed up of people begging him to baptise them, and had to tell them to get on their bikes-
"Jesus sent me not to baptise,but to preach the gospel" (1 Cor 1:17)

Paul may not have performed baptisms; but he himself was baptized (Acts 9:18) and was surely well aware of Jesus' command at Matthew 20: 18-20
Quote:
18 Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: β€œAll authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”
Notice the implication here, Romeo . . . that of an organization devoted to his work?
