@Wilso,
Romeo doesn't make any secret about a twee, little, lower-middle class affectation like not wanting us to know all about him Wilso. He just cuts the crap on that matter and sees through your implied claim that you are a shy person who doesn't want anybody thinking that you want us to think you don't seek attention too. Which is why you're here you silly moo-cow. Romeo just has style. You have none. It's ******* hermits that don't want anybody knowing anything about them. Not A2Kers strutting their stuff.

I am surprised you thought fit to bring that to our attention. It's a bit like informing us what colour a lady's dress is when she is walking past us. As if you were teaching A2Kers to know what red is. Like we are ******* two or something looking at Big ******* Daddy through the play-pen bars in wide-eyed astonishment at the task facing us in avoiding the worst of inherited characteristics.

We holy men don't hide under beds..Smile
For example as I've boasted before, I once served 3 months in jail on a vigilante rap, how kool is that?..Smile
In fact I've even posted this pic of my prison (below) in various A2K threads.
When I was released my swagger went off the scale to think I was a hard man, and whenever I watch prison movies like Shawshank Redemption and Alcatraz I smugly think to myself "Bin there, dun that!"
Hey Wilso I think you said you're an Aussie? good for you mate, if i ever visit the place I'd feel right at home among all you descendants of convicts..Smile

See now, the Puritans had no doubts about that situation. They asked the local Indians about their religious beliefs, decided that they were limbs of Satan, and wiped them out. Problem solved.

Once the scientific revolution took hold the Indian culture was no longer part of the human race. Milking sentimental nostalgia is for tiny minds.

The scientific revolution did for the Indians. Galileo, if there's a need to personalise it to keep it simple. So opponents of Galileo were defending the Indian way of life.

That's how thick Setanta is. He attacks Galileo's persecutors and attacks the inevitable result of them losing the argument. It depends which way Setanta has chosen on any day to try to make himself look good and appeal to the incoherent sentiments of little old ladies

Unless he's in favour of the Indians being "wiped out". Which they have not been. Satan, a conveniently abstract figment, has nothing to do with the matter except insofar as the use of the label exposes Setanta's lack of respect for A2K.

@spendius,
Thus Setanta leads you all astray. One doesn't produce a Superpower by allowing a small population of disparate barbarians running around in breech cloths putting up with toothache to monopolise millions of acres of fertile land from sea to shining sea.

@spendius,
Quote:
First, common sense tells us he wasn't the first human in the Americas due to the fact that there were already "Indians" in the Americas. In fact, Christopher Columbus, after figuring out he was not in India, decided that slavery, subjugation, and religious oppression were the answer to the question of his discovery.

And Columbus Day is a national holiday which is just in evolutionary terms. Other Europeans were in North America long before Columbus. The Vatican knew all about the place. Jesuit missionaries reported on the area.

So Columbus Day is a celebration of slavery, subjugation, and religious oppression and cosmetic dentistry used as a symbol of all the other advantages the modern citizen of the USA enjoys which Indians had done without for many centuries and would still be doing without if the Vatican had had its way.

No problem mate, I was only jailed for 3 months on that vigilante rap, so I could apply for a visitor's holiday visa, then when I arrive in Oz I'd change my name to 'Romeo Dundee' and simply vanish into the outback..Wink

Australian High Commission website re applying for a Visitor's Visa- You must not have any criminal convictions for which the sentence or sentences are for a total period of 12 months duration or more (whether served or not), at the time of travel to, and entry into, Australia.
