@panzade,
I think if I were a god, I would describe myself as an atheist.

@edgarblythe,
If I was a God I might take issue with such a ridiculous stance ed.

It was just a bumper sticker, made up by a Christian. In short, since it was not a statement by a god, it is subject to human fallacy. We don't know what a god would really believe, even if we held a literal belief in the Bible. Our mind would latch on to the parts we find most pleasing and we would interpret the god's word accordingly.

Many Christians already do that. Hopefully, for the best.

I hear that a bumper sticker was made up by an atheist claiming that God does not exist. Can you imagine?

Very Happy

@Intrepid,
I saw another bumper sticker. It gave a radio station's call letters. Beneath the letters was the slogan:
God Listens
What makes them believe a god would choose a favorite radio station?

@JTT,
oh.... I like Christmas music.

I was once asked by a co-worker why I sang Christmas carols if I was an "atheist/agnostic/whatever-you-are". I asked her if she sang along with "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" and should I take that to mean that she did acid.

And all this time, I've taken you for a sane and rational human being. Shows just how wrong a person can be, eh, JPB? Wink

I like songs about Sanity Claws and also like quite a few religious songs. Also like lots of country songs.

Being omniscient, I would know instantly. (Of course an instant to a god might be hundreds of centuries to the humans who are like a worm in his presence)

Yeah, but maybe you can't remember how you came to be, because if you are infinite and have always existed, you'd not be able to cast your Mind back that far, since you'd be stuck just casting...
