Will you be my dad?

I have no father. It's plain and simple really. My mom had a child (me) and decided he was not a good enough man to be a dad. I am not sure if he knows I exist. He has never once contacted me and due to reasons hinted at by my mother, I likely will go the rest of my life not ever knowing him. He never paid child support or otherwise acknowledged me. Fine. That's the way the cookie crumbles.

"So why are you here?" you may ask. Well the answer is clear isn't it? Everyone deserves to have a dad to look over them, to check up on them, etc. Right? Ok, so I know there are a lot of bad dad's out there but I can't help but feel like I am missing out on a relationship I never had with a dad figure.

But here today I am opening up interviews...tell me why or why you would not be a good dad for me. I will choose from among the qualified applicants and will announce the 'winning dad' within a week or so. This is a great opportunity! Don't miss out! Smile

@mm25075,
I'll volunteer my husband if you promise to take care of him when he becomes an old geezer.

I tell corny jokes in front of your friends.
I make killer french toast on Saturday mornings.
I wear dad jeans.
I own an old green minivan.
I have a bag full of soccer practice vests hanging over my workbench.
I answer tough questions with "ask your mother".
I fall asleep on my Lazy-boy before eleven.
But, best all . . .

Pull my finger.

@George,
Hard to compete with George ... 'specially since he's so much older than I am.

I'm 6'4", so I'll pat your head.
I don't tell corny jokes, but I laugh at them.
I make decent pancakes on Sunday morning.
I wear shorts, and have a soccer player's legs.
I used to own a minivan ... tan.
I'll take you fishing, even though I don't like fishing.
I OWN the "ask your mother" phrase.
I fall asleep before 10!

Best of all ... I live in AZ.

@mm25075,
At 41, do you need an older brother?

I'll be your dad, as long as you don't mind if i go away and ignore you for the rest of my life. I am old enough (just barely), but don't tell anyone, 'K?

@Ticomaya,
You're 6'4''? Will you be my Bodyguard?

George is being naughty. He's just imitated Babe Ruth. Razz

@mm25075,
they hitch up just below the nipples.

(and sometimes they are stretchy)

I'd let Georgio be my dad, but he runs WAY too much for my knees...

(and he's stressed enough)
