But sully part of being a singer is choosing the right song. Do you want to hand them songs on a silver platter, live and learn.

Tonight for the first time I thought Crystal was not very good. I think it was her song choice. She didn't shine.

Another first:I thought Casey was very good.

A third first: I thought Aaron really connected with his song.

I can't imagine who's gonna get dumped.

Aaron was surprisingly good.

It should be interesting who goes tonight.

I don't think Crystal has the constitution to be a big rock star. Both Fantasia and Ruben fell apart after winning. Clay Aiken soared.

Whoever wins must be tuff to survive in that business, especially at such a young age.

I am in constant shock that the judges fawn over Lee.... they guy is NOT good.

I diasgree about Crystal not being tough enough. I have a feeling that beneath her hippie exterior she is calculating and determined.

Same with Sibohan.

Based on last night I would send home Aaron or Casey.... and I like both of them.

I missed the beginning last night, so I didn't see Aaron. I thought Casey was awful, crystal was fair (and I'm being kind), Lee was good, but not as good as the judges said, and Big Mike was terrific.

The last couple of weeks, Crystal has been a real disappointment.

The judges spent the first 6 weeks telling them to sing songs that fit their age. Aaron was most chastised for this. Then they come out with having them sing the songs of Elton, Elvis, Harry Connick / Rat Pack....

Mike and Crystal were the only two that could have pulled off Harry Connick. Would LOVE to have heard Siobhan in the line-up last night. She could have nailed it.

Lee really needs to go. At this point I hope it's Mike #1 and Crystal #2. Whoever is #2 will do better in the end, as we have seen.

Aaron was surprisingly good.

Lee is too much like one of the other winners, - brain fart can't remember his name. (He has diabetes) Same gravely voice. (Elliot?)

Casey needs to go. He can't sing. Yes, he did sound like a lamb last night.

Big Mike COULD be the next Luther Vandross. And since Ruben stoddard was such a disappointment, he could take this.

Crystal was out of her element, but she was good.

Ole Blue Eyes was the master of phrasing and was one with the band. Big Mike came close to that.

I was raised on Sinatra. My uncle Jim brought us all of Frank's albums and played them while we cooked up Clams Casino and steaks.
I'm older than all of the judges.
All of the contestants are younger than my children.
I cannot for the life of me figure out why they want these kids to try and sing "Sinatra". Worst than that, a two minute SInatra.

And don't ask me about that Beatles night a few weeks ago.

I feel so bad for the singers

Don't these kids know any Talking Heads or David Bowie or Cure or
god, even Madonna..... .?? And the kids I am talking about are the producers of this mess.

Anyway, I love Frank, he was a great singer, but I slept through the two nights. ZZZzzzzzZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz
