@FBM,
The ad should probably go something like this:

She lifts the rim to her welcoming lips, finishes, and says:

"The best in the world is the one I'm holding in my hand".

Then he says:

"The most beautiful woman in the world is the one I'm with in this moment".

Then the waiter says:

" A bird in the hand is worth Anheuser Busch".

@usery,
I think you're on to something. You could punt that to Anheuser Busch. Can I get a percentage?

I just posted this on another thread. It's from Punch, (a satirical London magazine,) dated 14th May 1887.

Quote:
AT THE BIER OF BEER.

[By a Poet more Ale than Arty.)

"What is pure Beer ? The Leer that's brewed alone of malt and hops.
To that is Allsopp's limited—the beer brewed else all slops.
Quassia, calumba, guinea-grains, beer-drinkers may condemn.
Yet though those bitters match not hops, there's little harm in them.

But hops although the wise above all other herbs exalt,
The element of all good beer essentially is malt.
Of gentian mere infusion, to acknowledge truth compels,
Much of your so-called bitter ale by many an X excels.

Malt in the fine old English beer could Toby Phillpot taste.
No longer now!—the beverage of a Briton is debased.
" Home-brewed " hath superseded been by vile and vapid " pale."
There's none such stuff as " stingo," no, nor any "nut-brown ale."

Oh, for the sound malt liquor, and the brave strong beer of old,
Like that near Covent Garden which was once at " Offley's " sold!
Then was John Barleycorn your man, but now, alas, he's dead,
And the farmer's flowing tankard from the roadside inn hath fled!

Stingo is available outside the capital.

@izzythepush,
I have a friend who was born in the backseat of a taxi just inside the entrance to their Tadcaster Brewery.

His family lived nearby at the time, and for years, used to get a crate of bitter every Christmas beacause of their personal connection with the brewery.

@Lordyaswas,
You should post that on a website for expectant mums. It's not just a baby, it's a chance for free beer.

I've just opened one of these, (bottled in Tadcaster btw,) I don't normally go for fruit beers, but this is very good, just the right balance of beer and strawberry.

Mine looks exactly like this one except the label says fruit beer not fruit ale, and it's product of the UK, not England.

@izzythepush,
I'm pretty darn jealous of you Sir IZZY. That beer looks scrumptious. Especially as opposed to what I'm drinking now.

Jammer Gose from Sixpoint Brewery: When I took my first highly anticipated sip my tongue got a 404 file not found error. Where's the sour? Not a trace of drinkability at all.

@tsarstepan,
It is, (was) very nice. Normally I don't go for fruit beers, it either overpowers the taste of beer or makes it taste weird, not so with that. They got the balance right.

Bartender at the club we played at over the weekend suggested a Der Chancellor brewed by the Tequesta Brewing Co right down the road from me.
http://tequestabrewing.com/

Very likable,clean, crisp Kolsch.
Immensely drinkable. Dangerously drinkable. I want more.

@panzade,
On the radio they explained that it was non alcoholic beer - since Obama drank it before noon. I had to laugh as I am almost certain it was a regular Weissbier.
