We have alcohol free dark malt beer in Germany we used to drink as kids.

Since I've been to the abbey in Westmalle in my sober years, I only tried their fromage trappiste while the others had Extra - both is only to get there (and Extra is just brewed twice per year)

I drink Westmalle out of a glass just like the one in the picture. Owning the glass has a lot to do with drinking the beer.

I'm all for ritual and acknowledgement. As much as some characters would like to convince you that it's romantic to drink out of someone's shoe, I'll take the official glass, designed to contain the beer's head and focus the aroma for your drinking pleasure. Ahhhh.

Any beer will taste almost palatable when mixed with V-8.
People from Pa are used to beer with a "bite", because most Pa beers are brewed using acid mine drainage
