@boomerang,
Now that sounds a good thing to do on a freezing cold new years eve, boomer!

Maybe I'll get another dog in 2010. That would be good.

There will be a party at my sister in law's home. I am hoping my wife does not have her heart set on attending it.

I am going down to the beach.

Frankly, I'd rather stay home, or go somewhere cool for dinner.

I am buggered, and it's too damn HOT!!!

The beach sounds a terrific place to be in this stinky hot weather, Deb. When the sun's vanished, I mean. Best place possible you could think of!

You have a nice evening planned, Msolga?

A quiet night with a friend. Barbecue. Maybe a bit of DVD movie watching, if w're so inclined. A few wines. Sounds OK to me.

Here's wishing you all the very best for next year, bunny. May it be a good, sparkly year for you! Very Happy

I oppose neither the Irish, wolves, hounds, nor Mooses;
nor do I oppose those who hound Irish wolves.

@msolga,
I've come to a decision regarding the black-eyed pea issue, msO...

rather than eating them for the new year, I am going to play them.

Photos! Photos! We wanna see you in this outfit, Iz! Very Happy

Seriously though, I'm wishing you a much, much improved time in this next year. Health & "event-wise"! You've had far too much drama & excitement in 2009. That's what I think! A much gentler, kinder year is in order. With lots of good sleeps! Smile

@Rockhead,
New Years eve has been a traditionally somber time for us. (Wed lost several good folks that were part of our lives in and around the holiday, and one pair in a terrible accident)< Consequently, we try to make the holiday as uneventful as possible. We will have a small dinner and we will talk with relatives and friend over the phone).
Friday, New Years day,we will go to the Fulton Fire Company annual pork and saurkraut dinner, and, if weather holds , we will move the sheep over to a separate pasture for the next two weeks. Were still counting birds for the Christmas bird counts. We will be finishing up by Jan 3 when we send in our tabby sheets.

Im looking forward to this weekend because Im going up to Tucquan Glen to do some plein air painting.

I hope everybody's 2010 is better than your 2009 was.
