correct a sentence

I always feel that I have the responsibility to help our society and world, even if what I can do is small.

My first thought was: ". . . even though what i can do is small." Either one works. It's a well written sentence, except for the omission, which can be supplied either as Contrex suggests, or with "though."

Even though what I can do seems small, I feel that I have the responsibility to help our society and world.

I thought about "though", but it was too late to modify my post.
