Do you ever wonder with the scale of things how some of the past presidents would have done if they had been given a chance at a clean (relativity speaking) slate and maybe a little extra time.

I don't think you can say whether he'll be a one-term president yet. It depends on so many factors, not least of which is who the Republicans put up against him. I mean, Bush was a ****-up of monumental proportions and he got a second term, so I don't think we can pass judgment on that yet. I think it's more likely that he'll get a second term, judging from the competition, but a lot can change in a three years.

@kickycan,
Well, PrezBO is a ****-up of monumental proportions and he hasn't even completed his 1st year in office.
The scary thing is that it can get alot worse over the next three years.

@Seed,
I do wonder about that and Squinney and I have discussed it as a matter of fact.

I would point out that bush started out with pretty clean slate.

@Bi-Polar Bear,
it's true. He did. He was also given 8 years to fix anything that was broken. But instead I believe he spent his time breaking things.

The biggest mistake GW made was his stimulus pkg.
This single mistake allowed PrezBO to inherit a federal charge card.
PrezBO has run up an unbelievable amount of federal CC debt in just 11 months.
PrezBO has effectively broken the country before his 1st year in office has ended.

Let's hope for real change in 2010 & 2012 because we need real leadership and experience if we want to fix what PrezBO has broken.

@ehBeth,
No... "voters are fuckups" refers to those that voted for Mr. Obama.

Why would Mrs. Clinton be happy about people voting for GW?

@H2O MAN,
i'd say that no matter who you vote for, the voters are **** ups, after all they're voting for leaders, but sadly, all they get are politicians

@eoe,
The "we" business is "us" AMericans. We're supposed to be one country with two major political parties, but we all know Bush said "I'm a uniter, not a divider." So much for history.

So many Americans are upset with PrezBO that they long for the days of GW.
