People are turning to meditation more and more and I think this is positive. However, be careful because certain types of meditation can take you down "rabbit holes". Let's be clear drugs just zombify i.e. take any sort of control that you may have away from you....It's clear however that in todays society drugs are necessary as temporary "crutches" but they should only be seen as such. The individual needs to learn to take control of their mind themselves….which is not easy... but this fact remains.
