Everyone knows you're supposed to run through first base, not slide into it. I've never seen such an awful baserunning error.

Well, looks like it turned out better for KC this afternoon.

Meanwhile, Boston is doing to Arizona's Corbin (12-2, ERA near 2) what it has done to most pitchers this season, making him work himself into the ground before he reaches the end of the 6th inning. Boston is down 0-1 in the middle of fifth, but hopefully we can push Corbin out of the game by the 7th.

In the game against Seattle when we scored 6 runs in the 9th to win, we did all that in a Felix Hernandez start. We only got 1 run against King Felix, but we tired him out.

Looks a former Yankee player (from the 2009 team) facing the current crop of Yankee players. Darth Vader versus a bunch of second-rate clones.

(The Yanks have been Jaywalkers Row this year.)
