Thanks. I sort of semi-recalled that Crain was a reliever...which is a major need of theirs.

Yeah, thanks. I semi-recall that Crain was a reliever, which is Sawx major need. Also, Sawx strategically needed to block the Rays from getting him. Ooops! I sure hope they have a good plan B.

I got my eye on the newswire.

Thanks. This guy is good. He has about a $14m annual salary with heavy performance clauses for next yr. I read where he had a broken rib earlier in the year but it's well-healed.

I just read that it has boiled down to Sawx and the A's and the A's are supposed to have dropped out of it. Trade deadline is by tomorrow.

my gut feeling is they'll try bogaerts -- maybe platoon with holt or snyder.

middsey is stuck at AAA struggling big time with the bat...

Red Sox GM Cherington is quietly lining up the pieces for an October run.

Tigers ain't getting Alan Trammel but I would have loved to have seen Iglesias in red sox next year.
