@Region Philbis,
is anyone else following this comedy?

I don't want to keep posting articles on it, but it has been an eventful day in NY. (and Hackensack NJ)

meanwhile, in the real world...

Yankees recall Adams, Cruz on DL

Adams is hitting .190 in 35 games for New York this season, with two homers and nine RBIs.

(and he is the better hitter of the two)

@Rockhead,
And that doctor is a hack from Hackensack. How poetic can you get.

A-fraud is either the biggest dummy or the biggest vain idiot there EVER was? Can't decide which.

As for the impact on the Yankees, as a Red Sawx fan, I really do feel sorry for them. However, they seem to be maneuver and are trying to get rid of him and get paid by their insurance.

@Ragman,
You see here's where it get's strange. I'm a Yankee fan and oddly have no sympathy towards the fools who brought Rodriguez in. Only regret here is that we can't see how Steinbrenner would be reacting right about now.
The team itself will be better without him and I sense that they know this.

If things go right, maybe they can finish Rodriguez off on Saturday (which happens to be his birthday). Can't happen fast enough.

@Sturgis,
Shockingly, in 10 yrs they've paid him a jaw-dropping $300m. Some small nations don't have that much in working revenue. Nice way to pay back your team, huh?!

enough about alex and the rabbit hole...

I should be out trying to work, but I'm sitting here in front of the box watching KC try to take 3 of 4 from bollymore.

we're up 3 zip.

Guthrie is all smoke and mirrors tonight.

I'm pondering life after Ervin Santana.

KC has allowed less runs than anyone but oakland this year in the AL.

the pitching side of our equation is balanced very nicely. (wade davis not included) If only we could hit and score runs...

I think I'll retch if I hafta see Luke Hochevar start another game. ever.

I'll not speak ill of Mr Chen and his miniscule ERA for now. (speaking of smoke and mirrors)

I almost wish Dayton would keep Santana and the boys would rip off a winning streak. but that's not how the game is played...

We went to a White Sox game on Wednesday.

Pfttt! It was over before the top of the first inning.

Last night, they decided to play baseball for a change.

Chicago baseball on the north and south sides sucks this year.

Fan's 'Fraud' shirt creates stir

A Milwaukee Brewers fan says she was asked to leave Miller Park because she had made
some changes to her Ryan Braun shirt.

Karen Eidem says security tapped her on the shoulder while she was standing with friends
at the ballpark Wednesday night. Eidem had changed a couple letters on the back of her
Brewers shirt to make it read "Fraud" instead of "Braun" because of the slugger's recent
suspension.

http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2013/0726/mlb_ke_braunfraud_200.jpg

Security told her the modified shirt violated the fan code of conduct and that she would
have to change the shirt or leave the ballpark. Eidem turned the shirt inside out and
stayed for the game.

"I mean, it was obviously meant as a joke, but to put me in a position where I'm the one
to be perceived as doing something wrong, that kind of bothered me," said Eidem, according
to WTMJ radio in Milwaukee.

According to WTMJ, the Brewers later issued a statement saying security staff should not
have interfered and offered Eidem another game ticket.

"In this case, the fan absolutely should have been able to wear the jersey without any
intervention by our staff," the statement read. "We welcome the opportunity for fans to
express their opinions. The only circumstances that would warrant us intervening is if
someone were to display a message or item that would be considered offensive to other
fans. This is not a case where that line was crossed, and we're sorry for the inconvenience
to her. We will reach out to Ms. Eidem to invite her to another game this year as our guest."

ok, I take back my remark about Wade Davis. for now...

"CHICAGO (AP) -- Wade Davis pitched four-hit ball into the eighth inning and the Kansas City Royals beat Chris Sale and the Chicago White Sox 1-0 Saturday night for their fifth consecutive victory..."

@fbaezer,
My, oh my! Methinks the Mexican is miffed about something. What could be his motive for casting gratuitous asparagus at me on what should be a fine Sunday?
It could be because, in our Fantasy Baseball matchup, my Rappin' Rednecks are crushing his meager excuse for a team. Might that have something to do with it?
And is "redneck bum" the best he can come up with? Geez! And he claims to be a wordsmith! What a hack.
