@Rockhead,
Its a good thing that the Braves left Boston, or it would have looked like Jonestown after Wednesday night.

@Rockhead,
Um. I haven't really been following. Who plays tonight? Are these playoffs 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5? Thanks.

miguel cabrera just put Detroit out in front to start game 2.

Is he melky's brother?

(melky is now one of my favourite players)

@Rockhead,
Miguel is not related to Melky as far as I can tell (from Wiki) :

"His mother played 14 seasons as shortstop for the Venezuelan national softball team, and Cabrera isn't shy to admit his mother taught him his swing. His father is also an accomplished baseball player having his big league dreams cut short as an amateur player. His uncle, David Torres, signed with the St. Louis Cardinals and made it to Double-A ball in the organization before his career came to a halt."

@Ragman,
this game has turned to a yawner.

I think they are all watching football in the dug-out...

Tejas goes up 2-1.

Tigers have pulled in front of Boida's Yanks 4-2, and they've run CC off...
