The overly-huge payroll and the atmosphere of LA's accelerated pace is not a good fit for Donnie Baseball. Like to see him back in NYC (perhaps Yankees family)...or some place where he has a few years to put his imprint on a team.
Also, he's a perfectionist...on a team..that, uhhh....team was pretty flawed, to say the least. IMHO, timing was bad for any mgr with the Dodgers organization (bad divorce of the McCourts) and that ridiculous salary scenario.
Think about it...his initials are DAM.
