@tsarstepan,
Yanks will improve now that Chapman is back and being his old self.

Hitting is still shaky.

@panzade,

Odor got three shots in -- a two hand push to the chest, an effective cross to the chin, and then a glove bop to the head for good measure.

all that for a take-out slide that looked not only legal, but fairly tame.

Bautista was mad about getting plunked, but you don't take it out on the infielder.

and if you're Texas, why did you wait until his final at bat of the year to plunk him?

It was an amazing 24 hours as the Yankees sat at .500. Perhaps it will happen again before the end of September.

Marlin's Stanton had a monster night. Crushed it.

@Region Philbis,
He has been in a terrible slump. Barry Bonds is helping him to stop chasing bad pitches.

The Yankees won again and are now 7 games over .500.

They got rid of a couple top relievers earlier didn't they? So...why?

@Kolyo,

they're shedding salary and going with younger, cheaper players -- quite a departure from their previous business model.

the AL east is up for grabs, and everybody is playing each other down the stretch...

Please keep those pesky Yankees away from the Wild Card race/playoffs. Thanks in advance.
