Dinner time works best for me if we meet during the week.
Weekends , except for a few early mornings, are wide open.
Someone I work with loves trying out new places. She just loves food.
She was just telling me about a new place just East of downtown that apparantly only does cheeseboards, appetizers, wine, etc.
I'll be damned if I can remember the name.
I'll ask her Monday.

chai, I just did a quick search, and found this:
uh uh....I just remembered it's the name of a flower. So I looked around and see it's the Blue Dahlia.
if you google it, you'll see reviews, which are like 95% really good, and even the others say it was above average.
It's a place more for nibbling open faced sandwiches and cheese, and coversation.
I couldn't tell how big it was, so I just called them and asked "do you have tables large enough for groups of (let's say) eight"
She said "Oh, certainly"
anyway, I don't know anything else about it, but maybe I'll drive by tomorrow.

I have arrived in Austin, but I wanted to enjoy the air conditioned room before I venture out. Changed to shorts and t-shirt. It's now 10-m to 4PM - the hottest time of day. whew!
