Is it rude to stare and listen to conversations?

@Setanta,

I simply observed what remains true--that i am not your dear.

In that case, could you be MY dear?

Pretty please?

as i am equally certain that when you say you love me, you are lying.

Disagreed. I think she's being honest. Brutally honest. And you do not, in fact, hafta like it.

Really. No kidding.

You messed that one up, Set, kinda big. You meant "too," not "to."

Do NOT make grammatical/spelling errors when you're criticizing the intelligence of others.

It makes you seem ____________ (fill in the blank).

@Linkat,
Linkat, you can call ME Dear anytime you want!

Or snuggle-buns, sweetheart, cutie-head, or fuzzy-bins... Please Do. Razz

@Setanta,
But I do - there are few people I do not love - it is just the type of person I am - I am a hugger after all.

I have for too long used petty flings about spelling to poke others for it to have any effect on me. Your decision to claim that you believe Linkat (that makes two liars here) doesn't make it so. She does not know me, and knows nothing about me, so she is obviously lying when she says she loves me.

Certainly i cannot stop you from calling dear, or anything else you wish to call me. That won't change the fact that i am not your dear, nor am i the dear of Linkat.

@Linkat,
I suspect that you know such an insignificant fraction of the more than 6,000,000,000 people on the planet that you really have no conception of the scope of that lie which you just told.

@Setanta,
I truely feel sorry for you - that you can not love unconditionally. It is sad - I love some one unless they have proven me otherwise.

I will call you pokey bear.

How very condescending and judgemental of you. Precisely what is it that others have to "prove" to you for you to stop loving them unconditionally? I consider a claim by anyone that they love unconditionally, with the exception of loving a child they have borne, to be a lie. You seem to enjoy retailing lies.

Yeah, probably for the last 50,000 years or so. I don't expect it to end any time soon.

@Rockhead,
I remain "cranky" and "loopy" yet no one calls me dear. Lady Diane calls me "****-head" but that's cause she loves me.

@dyslexia,
Ahhh, even shithead can be endearing when used correctly. I'll call you dearie. You are cranky, but in an endearing sort of way. I love you too cranky.

@Linkat,
Gratuitous love, that's what we're talking about here. Unwanted, unsought-after 'love'. "Love" is obviously used too loosely by some, rendingering it pretty much meaningless.
