@Walter Hinteler,

I don't know about London, but it was absolutely stotting here this afternoon.

I blame George Bush.

@McTag,
Richard Dawkins, in his book The Selfish Gene, refers to stotting and explains it as the animal's attempt at advertising its health.

Was it Henry VIII who said we had the worst weather and the best climate?

Wet means green and pleasant.

@spendius,

Stotting or stoating in this context refers to the Scots verb to stoat, meaning to bounce.

e.g. "It's a stoater" means it's very good, as in a ball which will bounce. You can have a better game with a bouncy ball, a "stoater".

@Barry The Mod,
Update: we are going out clubbing tonight. I Dont think i'll be able to get Ang non-phone Internet until im back in england, so no new photos for a while. Sorry.

Spendi - you don't know what an enchanting evening is. You're right about the lovely PQ being a fine English rose, but it's the only thing you've ever been right about.

Oh I do you know. It isn't something I would describe on A2K though. I would assume it wasn't allowed.

@McTag,
How much did she want? Don't pay too much! Or was she just asking for directions?

For those tracking our movements, here are our flight numbers so they can plug them into that flight tracker site.

Swiss 1349 Warsaw to Zurich
Swiss 338 Zurich to London

I'm not sure if you can track our trains to Lincoln, but just know we will be moving at lightspeed through London to catch the last train!

Ready jet A2K!

Spendi - I think you confuse an "enchanting" evening with a beer goggle night. Good luck all the same. Ha.

The above is great for flights to and from the USA but pretty crap for Europe.
This is much better for european flights but it doesn't have the nice flight-tracker map....

As we went below the clouds on our approach to Zurich, it becomes apparent that Switzerland has just earned a trip as well. While we were here we decided to eat at burger king. Now we wait to board. Just got a text from bazza letting us know he's still following us virtually.

On a travel note, the airport security here was notably kind. They chatted up Taylor and I about the USA. Pretty cool.
