@gungasnake,
Gunga - the original article appeared in The Lancet http://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/issue/current
the most respected medical journal in the world. The clown who tagged your thread "The Sun is not a Newspaper" wouldn't know this <G>

You're saying that I'm not the only person to have noticed the abuse of topic tags on a2k??
Are fat people: clearcutting the rainforest, dumping pharmecuticals into our drinking water, constructing and marketing the gass-guzzling automobiles?
Believe it.
Sorry. That's not an answer.

Which posters enter what tags is easily trackable, as are the negative / positive marks on individual posts - not that I, personally care about anyone so stupid as to waste his time marking posts up or down. Besides, it ruins the site's entire policy of tagged topics of potential interest to advertisers.
But it gets hilarious when the subject of fat people comes up in any context - the stupid posters who are also fat go berserk; tragi-comic, really: http://able2know.org/topic/131516-5#post-3628604
Sorry for laughing, Gargamel - but you have inadvertently hit on a true problem > >
