Not that I'd normally figure a regional disaster was a president's problem but, after Katrina.....

Which, of course, ignores that Baby Bush declared a state of emergency on August 27, 2005--two days before Katrina made landfall in Louisiana, August 29, 2005.

@gungasnake,
Apparently youre uninformed about the total number of linemen being deployed to restart the grid. The original estimate (due to the rural nature and the large area involved) said that itll take month to restore(and thats an estimate from the business end of the power companies not the govt). The repair crews were mobilized the very day that the storm was raging.
Apparently your attempts at transfer of incompetence from the previous regime are getting more and more shrill.

If the country doesnt go down the drain economically it wont be thanks to the assholes like you.
I see where theres another thread as to how Bush kept us safe for 7 years. (However he failed to recognize the very signals that led to the biggest terror attack since 1993).

Why not try to lend a hand to do something constructive dipshit.

Perhaps FM was a very, very bad man in another life, and his karma is kicking in . . . with a vengeance . . .

@gungasnake,
Boy, you would think waiting for a month after an ice storm to declare it a federal disaster would drive gunga over the edge.

c'mon gung, it's your chance to be a real rush limbaugh...

he did succeed in ignoring and rebuking any and all information and warnings from the clinton administration. dismissed intelligence from massoud. fired richard clarke.

must have misread that pdb titled "bin laden determined to strike u.s.".

yep, real helpful making a big production outta slammin' the barn door shut after the horses have gotten out.

george w. bush. a great american president. http://www.clipartof.com/images/emoticons/xsmall2/2191_throwing_up.gif

Possibly one of the greatest ideas of the internet age in fact. The obvious next step would be to add this feature to voting machines so that the votes of idiots and assholes can be ignored.
