Whether the goals of progressives change things for the better or for the worse is a matter of opinion.

My opinion is that the goals of progressives make things much worse.

It's an objective fact that progressives try to abolish freedom and civil liberties.

I attribute progressive destructiveness to incompetence and not to malice. Progressives do not deliberately want to destroy the world.

But that lack of intent doesn't make the devastation that progressives cause any less harmful.

Be frank and come to the point: Your understanding is a huge deviation of the tranditional definition of progressive.

This deviation apparently leads to confusion and frustration about the ideology you are making efforts to establish.

For what you are trying to describe is de facto false progressives.

So better use another word or use "false progressives" instead.

Oralloy is an extrordinarily biased far-right wing ideologue. His okpinion of progressives bears very little resemblance to what progressives actually believe or practice. Don't trust what he says about them as anything other than his own imaginings.

Maybe you should tell the Communists and violent anarchists who say they are progressives. Oralloy is looking at what the group does and the group is the one claiming to be what they are not, not Oralloy.

He considers progressives by their association with violent and Communist groups as such. There is no doubt they hate America and Oralloy can call them anything he wishes to. Debating definitions is as far away that you can get from the truth.

What did the terrorists call themselves in 911 Attacks? They called themselves as jihadists and so by your logic, you and Oralloy would call them as jihadists? Can you see how wrong you are? They were terrorists! Call them terrorists straightaway and reasonable and innocent people will understand you very well.

By the same token, call violent anarchists and commies what they are; do not copy what they say they are. You risk being mentally hijacked by their ideology by copying what they propagandize.

Again, it's purely your imagination that preogressives are socialists or communists. You're wrong. Some do have some socialist ideas but then so does the us government and the us public,, ideas which have been generally accepted american beliefs for decades, like social security and the VA. And Americans for decades want socialized "medicine". like single-payer, which works in everyhothe first wrold country, costs half of what we pay, and covers everyone, which trump himself touted as the best until he became president. You're still stuck in pre-WolrdWarI thinking.

I don't believe that CJ and Ollie can. be as stupid as their posts indicate. I believe they are paid consertive republicans paid to sow desention among the more intelligent posters on this site. And its working. Look at how much of the discussion is taken up by these two repeating their lies until they might influence some of the people here. I think during the cold war this was referred to as propaganda.

Most of criminals claim they are "innocent", and so you and oralloy would attack the innocent, because you are following your delusional logic. Some innocent people do denounce crimes, but others may keep silent because they know the criminals will be punished by law.

With only a few anarchists going violent and claiming that they are "progressives", and so you and oralloy attack progressives, because you are following your ridiculous logic.

I am talking about the leaders of the progressive movement. Sanders, Warren, AOC are silent.

As far as the law, the protestors are never charged with looting or violent exchanges. People cannot count on the law in Democratic cities.
