Love and best wishes. I don't keep up with the forums as much as I used to. But please know that I am so glad Dys is doing better. It's that stubborness he has, ya know! (not to mention all the love for lady Di) There's nothing going to get him down without a fight! You go, cowboy!

Dys went to bed and I ate half a carton of fudge icing. Gah...there goes the Buche de Noel.

So, here is a recipe that I might try for tomorrow...thank heaven Dys is so easy. Sweet old cowboy.

(Double or triple for a crowd) Diane

Fruit Cake*

1 bottle of rum

15 Twinkies

1 cup Trail Mix

Blend all ingredients thoroughly. Eat it.

Serves 1. (or whatever)

You wonderful woman! The first thing I saw was that guilt-inducing salad and thought to myself, "This isn't like Beth, there isn't an ordinary bone in her body." Boy was I right!! Wish we could be festivus together..

And thank you for always being able to make me laugh.

BTW, the Dys is sleeping, but I hope he will check in later.

Sly old Roger, I never would have taken you for a gourmand. this is a side of you that might need more exploring. Osso and I will have to start planning some new recipes with rum or bourbon as the main ingredients....or the only indgredients.

Here's hoping that you all had a wonderful Christmas. Even for those of us who are not religious, it has great meaning for everyone to remember to be thankful for all we have and to enjoy sharing whatever we have with friends.
