It actually doesn't matter what a minority of flouncing attention seekers want to do.
What matters is that some law-makers are pandering to them and law-makers don't do such things without a deeper motive.
Fear of Media maybe. Which is an unelected body of men and women with their corrupt hands on a tool which is hardly out of short pants, has tight security on all its doors, a sexually depraved inner-city attitude and a terrier like eagerness to bite the throat out of the other institutions of power whilst keeping in the good books of the military.
It is easy to see that media people think of themselves as the "elect" in every news and current affairs broadcast. I think O'Reilly thinks he is a very senior member of the "elect". And he starts every rant with a barefaced lie.
And I'm more than half persuaded that they are justified in thinking of themselves as the "
Elect. Politicians can't do anything meaningful about Media but Media certainly can do something about politicians.
