He seems to claim that if it is not catholicism it is not valid.

Not valid for what?

I have done the overnight "marriage" as an extreme to show the logical and reasonable outcome of the direction these cloth heads are going. Shove off from the dock of the one vow and you're heading into uncharted waters.

It's probably valid for house prices.

Tell us what it is.

Priest: "Do you take ___ as your lawful wife/husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"

That's being fixed. Fitted up even.

Anybody not up for it shouldn't be getting married.

Do you think that there are no homosexuals that have that in mind when they wed?

Too right I don't. If you can legally ban Lance Armstrong for life you can require them to take it. Do they?

Catholics take it and to remain a Catholic they stick to it. It's a tough ask I know. That's why you don't like it. The commitment to the beloved is real and not tricked up by commercial interests. She will be a silly old bat one day.

Love is not a plaything for the USSC.

Some have took it with a shotgun pressing on the back of their necks. Catholics don't do reckless *******. It's too dangerous for ladies.

I can only guess that you are more of a naive realist than myself.

I was agnostic when I met my wife and a very foolish one at that, we are still together after 30 years and because of my understandings of human behavior, I am able to forgive her for her ignorance, I am not sure why she forgives me but I can only guess it may have something to do with my humbleness and asking her to forgive me and also pointing out to her how she is wrong at times too.

You may have a point spendus, Would it be wrong to say that there is a possibility that you may be just as much as a naive realist as myself?

@spendius,
Popes, Cardinals and Bishops have been finding ways to negate marrage vows for people with the wealth to afford it for 1900 years. I guess that civil ceremonies arnt legal in your world.

@RABEL222,
Of course they are legal. Anything is legal that those who say what's legal and what isn't legal say is legal.

Collateral damage is legal. What's a few well-to-do homosexuals declaring that their rights are being violated compared to that?

One might have thought that the Cardinals and Bishops would have found a way for Henry VIII to get divorced if it was as easy as you claim. He was very rich.

Also the Pope dident like him. Do I have to point out that people with power love to expend that power against people they dont like.

@RABEL222,
Isn't it amazing how the sheeps follow the leaders (popes) against providing equality to all! They want to control people's lives and their money.

They're successful too!

Well--it's a demand economy isn't it?

Are there any other successes you want to question?

This seems to be a video that a Christian posted and he/she thinks it backs his/her argument about same sex marriage but I see it as a black man coming to the defense of gay people. What do you see? Why does the black man with the most reasoned position get to speak last?

@reasoning logic,
Never mind that type of entertainment rl.

Why does ci. never answer any questions?

Except ones about where he has been on holiday and stamping his carbon footprint everywhere like dogs do with their "scenting".

@spendius,
CI is a hell of a lot more rational than you. The only answer you accept as true is one that completely agrees with your point of view no mater how screwed up your point of view is.

@reasoning logic,
I don't know what you are talking about rl. What's a 3.34 minute cut.

A pair of scissors and some glue and the black man could be made to speak first, or last, or second or not at all.

You're as bad as RABEL. I'm with the 74% of states who oppose same sex "marriage" and with the audience Mr Huckabee addressed on Fox the other night which applauded his opposition to the nonsense.

How can that be a screwed up point of view? I don't know what RABEL is talking about either. I can't see how either of you get through the day.

As speaking last is pole position, top of the bill, in that section of the tape I mean, I can only assume that the tape editor is in favour of same sex "marriage". He had the last word.
