I get sick of listening to christians complain about, “Well, hey, we don’t have a heterosexual christian pride day or adultery pride day, why do you need a gay pride day?” I remember when I was a kid I’d always ask my mom: “Why don’t we have a Kid’s Day? We have a Mother’s Day and a Father’s Day, but why don’t we have a Kid’s Day?” My mom would always say, “Every day is Kid’s Day.” To all those heterosexual christians that bitch about gay pride, I say the same thing: Every day is heterosexual christian ADULTEROUS pride day! Can’t you people enjoy your banquet and not piss on those of us enjoying our crumbs over here in the corner?

@JeffreyEqualityNewma,
The biggest danger to having your banquets and not being pissed on is trying to claim you can be married. What's the problem over in the corner?

Is it that we don't all cheer and applaud? Why do you need our approval?

@spendius,
I certainly don’t need some so called christian bigots approval. You’re a typical case of impenitent bigot projecting your own sins onto others.

Heteros at it again...

You know I feel bad about this, even as a gay man. I don't like to see anyone in pain and to suffer, gay or straight. We all have our problems, apparently, some more than others.

It is unthinkable considering that these churches are using tax payer money to deny people civil rights...

@RexRed,
Religion is dangerous, because if feeds hate to their congregation's members, and most can't see the hatred and bigotry they reinforce into our politics.

Well--boycott religion then. Nobody is stopping you. It's not illegal. You seem obsessed with religion. You seem as determined to instruct everybody as anybody I have come across.

@RexRed,
I think he is getting more obsessed because society is changing much faster than it use to when he was younger.

Any body going shopping at J.C. Penney on fathers day?

Not a bit. I don't give a **** about it. I can't imagine kissing anybody who I don't need to try to figure out. Like poles repel according to the scientists. I find blokes horrible.

Like Prof, Greer said--"men are like carrots, cheap and plentiful and easily cooked." Too true. Not one iota of mystery or challenge about them.

And if Judge Jones, at the Dover trial, can allow a comparison to stand between a flagella and a foot pump I can compare women to the south pole on an itsy-bitsy thread.

The subject is marriage. And the coherence of all the best literature is at stake. I'm obsessed about that.

You seem to indulge the conceit that we don't know what you are up to. I can understand heterosexuals having sympathy with your predicament but not with you promoting it as if it is perfectly normal.

But it is perfectly normal for some people to be gay spendius, Science even states it. It is amazing the **** that the church tries to peddle.

Most people know that some animals are gay but "gay plants? not politically correct.

@reasoning logic,
But homosexuals do not all do the same things or take the same parts. One has to keep William Burroughs and Jean Genet in mind.

It is perfectly normal for a lot of people in certain circumstances to be Nazi and officials in extermination camps. It used to be not only perfectly normal but the cool thing to do to watch Christians being tortured to death in a stadia. Thousands gather in some places to see people hung, drawn and quartered and go about for months or even years with the body parts sticking up on buildings.

What is normal? Normal is a way of behaving that best promotes the success of the social group. And that is what the Church peddles and nothing else. And it is what any intelligent person would expect it to peddle.

It also tolerates certain types of unusual behaviour because it is aware of the value for progress they have.

What is the value for progress of the promotion of homosexuality and of homosexuals getting "married".

Give it a shot rl. It will make a change. The focus on your opponent's asserted faults is a white feather job because you make up the faults and because it takes the onus off you of answering my question.

What exactly are the similarities between a bloke having a male spouse and a female one. The latter has a hymen, which the Church teaches to be very selective, for a start, as females do in nature. And she risks being burdened for life with the fortunes of the brats her loins have spawned.

How can anybody, except a complete fool, be seen to be agitating, in seriously emotional ways, to have the two states covered by the same designation? Their only point of similarity is the attention seeking wedding festivities and a bride is deserving of it, a proper bride I mean, and a bloke's male partner deserves no more than any bloke, and that's a kick up the arse.

Do you eat chalk? Do you mark out sports-fields with cheese?

The whole point of the Church is to put the handbrake on hysterical fads while the implications of institutionalising them is carefully considered.

I do not see where it is any of our business what they do as long as they are not causing harm to others.

@reasoning logic,
Why don't you answer the post old chap? Your repetitive blather (candy-coating) is getting a bit tiresome.

We need to find a role for the legions of females with various unfortunate dispositions, And males. We can't pursue policies solely on behalf of the narcissistic, beautiful people having an emotionfest.

Love, attraction and companionship can all be asserted in the service of kicking up a fuss and being the centre of attention. We see actors and actresses do it all the time.
