@DrewDad,
No, I've posted link after link as this is being discussed in a gazillion different threads and I'm not going to hunt up a link again. I'll amend my previous post to be my opinion and understanding. I honestly don't care whether you believe me or not. But I'm pretty darn sure I'm on solid ground.

The first eight presidents were born in a colony of England. Where did we begin counting the issue of statehood and citizenship. Surely it wasnt with Goldwater?

@Foxfyre,
Good grief foxfrye, Obama was born in Hawaii a state in the US which makes him a US citizen since his mother was a citizen of the US. He did have dual citizenship because of his father but that ran out after he reached twenty-one because he didn't denounce his US citizenship and pledge allegiance to Kenya. He has provided copies of his birth certificate. But now apparently that ain't good enough because it is just a copy of a print out instead of the original birth certificate. Too bad because it seemed to have been good enough for him become a lawyer, a senator in both Illinois and the US senate and to be able to participate as a candidate for the US president. You guys are just running on desperation and foul air because you have nothing else.

farmerman : My vote cancels your vote.

Until the government provides proof Obama is eligible (US Constitution, Article II, Section 1), he will not be a legitimate president, whether he wins or not.

Interestingly, unless you live in the same state as Farmerman, it really doesn't.

Also, you might be interested to know that votes do not in fact 'cancel' one another.

Or, when Obama was in Hawaii a few days ago he made sure that the birth certificate was not authorized to be released?

or maybe if someone bothered to check the state law before they jumped to conclusions they might find the real reason why it won't be released.

There was a cloud hanging over him too because he was born in the Canal Zone, but as it was a recognized U.S. Territory at the time and his parents were U.S. citizens, the judge deemed him to be a natural born citizen but placed the final authority for that determination with the U.S. Legislature that has not objected to the judge's opinion.

That has to be the worst misreading of a court ruling I have ever seen. The judge doesn't rule that McCain is eligible or state McCain is a natural born citizen. The judge never saw a birth certificate provide by McCain. The only ruling by the judge is that Hollander had no standing to make the argument.

The only time the Judge mentions McCain's birth is in talking about the case background and Hollanders arguments.

Have you guys looked into the current writing of the guy who is serving up the kool aid to all of you?

He's ranting becase Corsi filed a copycat lawsuit and is stealing all the thunder away from him.

Not only that, he is now saying that Obama was in fact born in Hawaii but his father is not who he says it is. He believes Frank Davis is Obama's real father and that this is why Obama does not want to produce the vault copy, because it will show that Frank Davis is Obama's real father and not they guy from Kenya.

And just today he's upset because Hannity and Murdoch have apologized for allowing him on their network to talk about his Ayers delusions.

Andy Martin is a lunatic.

Quote:
NEW YORK)(October 27, 2008) Jerome Corsi began his book with a citation to my original work on Barack Obama. Now Corsi has filed a copycat request for Barack Obama's original birth certificate, after I filed a lawsuit in Honolulu seeking the same document. Why didn’t Corsi seek Obama's birth certificate before he wrote his book, not months afterwards?

It looks like I started something. Governor Lingle should give me an award for jump-starting Hawai'i tourism. After I arrived in Honolulu, the ultimate tourist, Barack Obama, arrived closely behind me with his entourage.

<snip>

A couple of weeks ago Corsi was in Kenya saying Obama was born there. Now he is in Hawai'i accepting my theory that Obama was born in Hawai'i. Corsi can't seem to make up his mind between Kenya and Hawai'i. Maybe he is waiting for me to tell him the facts. Perhaps he knows better than to believe his own b.s. Corsi knows whom to believe: me. He might even buy my book, Obama: The Man Behind The Mask.

Quote:
NEW YORK)(October 26, 2008) One of the national TV networks sent a Washington producer and correspondent to interview me in New York today (Sunday) and it was a spirited exchange. I don’t know when any part of the interview will air, but they were asking me questions for over an hour.

So, yes, the "Mainstream Media" ("MSM") do contact me, and I respond courteously and cooperatively when scheduling permits.

But I also learn from these exchanges with the MSM. The correspondent asked me a lot of questions that represented stale information about me. I asked him what relevant stale material had to the 2008 campaign. There was no response.

<snip>

I went to Hawai'i two weeks ago to ask the questions that no else one had ever asked. Why did the pieces of the Obama puzzle never fit? We were the first investigative team to land in Honolulu to pursue these conundrums about the candidate.

And we found answers. Obama is not Obama. His father was the controversial Frank Marshall Davis, who--surprised?--rose to prominence in Chicago. I did a story disclosing Obama's true father, a claim that he has not denied. Obama's silence is deafening. He knows we are ready for him if he does.

Davis may have been a proverbial "bad guy" in the eyes of conservatives, but he was well-liked in Honolulu. And he had influence in city hall. His friends are saddened that Davis' son is not being elected president, and that Davis' son travels under the false flag of another family, "Obama". The whole thing was a tragic fraud linked to Obama's childish mother, Davis' existing wife and family, and Barack Obama senior who received some vigorish in return for posing as the father.

I should point out that these family machinations and convolutions are hardly unusual or unprecedented. People discover all the time that parents they thought were their parents are not, or that siblings or cousins are not in fact the relatives they thought they were. Families do occasionally lie to each other. Obama's is not the first "switched at birth" puzzle to unravel.

That's why Obama's "father" was never a father to him. And that's why "Dreams From My Father" is devoted secretly to Obama's real father, Frank Davis, who did give his son many dreams and pointed him in the direction of Chicago, where Davis still had many contacts and longstanding relationships. When you plug Davis into the "puzzles" about Obama, there are no longer any "puzzles" or questions. The pieces all fit together nicely.

Which brings us to Obama's birth certificate. Obama has lied to the American people. Lied. Yes, lied. He is lying as you read this. He has released a piece of paper that is merely a computerized print-out from a data base. We provided a copy of a 1963-style birth certificate to the TV network. We will be returning to this document over and over again in the next week. Obama has concealed the original typewritten 1961 document. The original document in 1961 was typed, not computer-printed as is the sample published by "FactCheck.org."

Of course my revelation about Obama's real father irritated some conservatives (and Democrats) that claim Obama was born in Kenya. I have seen no admissible evidence to confirm that he was born in Kenya. One person claimed to have a "tape" of Obama's grandmother claiming to be present at his birth. Problem? Yes. The "grandmother" is not his grandmother, a fact that has continuously confused the media (yup, the Chicago Sun-Times had the wrong photo on its website for months) because of Obama's honorific references to her as "granny." Obama never met his real Kenyan "grandmother" and there is no evidence she was present at his birth.

Ironically, the TV correspondent asked me if I should "apologize" to Obama for mistakenly saying he was a Muslim at birth. I responded that Obama should apologize to the American people for lying about whom his real father was. He has falsely maintained that he is an "Obama" when he is a "Davis." I am not afraid to publish the truth as we find it, even as it may contradict what we previously thought to be true. Honesty to my audience and the relentless pursuit of the truth are my paladins. And, look for "Obama and Islam, Again," on Monday, October 27th).

The bottom line: we have embarrassed the New York Times and run circles around the mainstream media, and they don't like it. Obama unleashed his mud merchants to smear me, and only succeeded in making me a larger presence in the campaign. When I left for Honolulu, Obama had not been there in a while, and his grandmother was already in the hospital without any noticeable concern on his part. He was planning nothing. No MSM had ever conducted any investigation in Honolulu.

The minute my team started digging, everyone started paying attention and, surprise, Obama landed in his jet to visit his real (white) grandmother. Wonders never cease. Miraculously, she had made an instant recovery by the time he arrived. Many people feel he used his grandmother's illness as a pretext to come to Hawai'i. I do not view that as an unreasonable theory.

In closing, I have one question for Barack Frank Marshall Davis Obama, pretender president of the United States: why won't you allow me and the American people to see your real, original 1961 birth certificate (in Hawai'i they called a "Certificate of Live Birth.")?

Until Obama produces the original 1961 birth certificate"typewritten, not computer generated"-he will be a pretender president to the American people and me.

Only a complete moron would vote for a presidential candidate that is afraid to release a copy of his original 1961 birth certificate.

(NEW YORK)(October 27, 2008) After reading a story in the New York Times that Rupert Murdoch dismisses conservatives such as Bill O'Reilly on Murdoch's own Fox News, I should have known I was next to be axed by the media baron. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/23/books/23wolff.html

One week before America faces the pathetic prospect of "President Obama," Fox has now attacked me for my appearance as a guest on "Hannity's America" October 5th. On that show I drew the first coherent timeline linking Bill Ayers and Barack Obama, and introduced Khalid Al-Mansour to the national audience. The program on which I appeared was Hannity's highest-rated ever, and still very popular on YouTube. The fact that Murdoch has attacked me on the eve of the election confirms the overwhelming power of the October 5th program and the terror we struck in the Obama operation.

Murdoch won't get away with maliciously attacking our Internet Powerhouse that easily.

Americans are hungry for the truth about Obama. Hannity presented an honest show, and now those of us who participated are being trashed by Rupert Murdoch as he grovels to Barack Obama, the same way Murdoch grovels to the regime in Beijing. It's sad. Murdoch has taken a seat in the self-interest bus driven by Colin Powell.

<snip>

For a Vice President of Fox to undermine me and say Hannity regrets my appearance is sickening. What does Hannity regret? The Times' smears? Or the facts about Ayers and Obama? Like the so-called "N" word, the "A-S" word has become so powerful in American media that the mere accusation, without fact or foundation, is sufficient to occlude the truth. And they wonder why no one believes the media any more, and why newspapers are dying organizations.

@Butrflynet,
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/13/us/politics/13martin.html?_r=1&hp&oref=slogin

Quote:
Until this month, the man who is widely credited with starting the cyberwhisper campaign that still dogs Mr. Obama was a secondary character in news reports, with deep explorations of his background largely confined to liberal blogs.

But an appearance in a documentary-style program on the Fox News Channel watched by three million people last week thrust the man, Andy Martin, and his past into the foreground. The program allowed Mr. Martin to assert falsely and without challenge that Mr. Obama had once trained to overthrow the government.

An examination of legal documents and election filings, along with interviews with his acquaintances, revealed Mr. Martin, 62, to be a man with a history of scintillating if not always factual claims. He has left a trail of animosity " some of it provoked by anti-Jewish comments " among political leaders, lawyers and judges in three states over more than 30 years.

He is a law school graduate, but his admission to the Illinois bar was blocked in the 1970s after a psychiatric finding of “moderately severe character defect manifested by well-documented ideation with a paranoid flavor and a grandiose character.”

Though he is not a lawyer, Mr. Martin went on to become a prodigious filer of lawsuits, and he made unsuccessful attempts to win public office for both parties in three states, as well as for president at least twice, in 1988 and 2000. Based in Chicago, he now identifies himself as a writer who focuses on his anti-Obama Web site and press releases.

Mr. Martin, in a series of interviews, did not dispute his influence in Obama rumors.

“Everybody uses my research as a takeoff point,” Mr. Martin said, adding, however, that some take his writings “and exaggerate them to suit their own fantasies.”

As for his background, he said: “I’m a colorful person. There’s always somebody who has a legitimate cause in their mind to be angry with me.”

When questions were raised last week about Mr. Martin’s appearance and claims on “Hannity’s America” on Fox News, the program’s producer said Mr. Martin was clearly expressing his opinion and not necessarily fact.

It was not Mr. Martin's first turn on national television. The CBS News program "48 Hours" in 1993 devoted an hourlong program, "See You in Court; Civil War, Anthony Martin Clogs Legal System with Frivolous Lawsuits," to what it called his prolific filings. (Mr. Martin has also been known as Anthony Martin-Trigona.) He has filed so many lawsuits that a judge barred him from doing so in any federal court without preliminary approval.

He prepared to run as a Democrat for Congress in Connecticut, where paperwork for one of his campaign committees listed as one purpose “to exterminate Jew power.” He ran as a Republican for the Florida State Senate and the United States Senate in Illinois. When running for president in 1999, he aired a television advertisement in New Hampshire that accused George W. Bush of using cocaine.

In the 1990s, Mr. Martin was jailed in a case in Florida involving a physical altercation.

His newfound prominence, and the persistence of his line of political attack " updated regularly on his Web site and through press releases " amazes those from his past.

“Well, that’s just a bookend for me,” said Tom Slade, a former chairman of the Florida Republican Party, whom Mr. Martin sued for refusing to support him. Mr. Slade said Mr. Martin was driven like “a run-over dog, but he’s fearless.”

Given Mr. Obama’s unusual background, which was the focus of his first book, it was perhaps bound to become fodder for some opposed to his candidacy.

Mr. Obama was raised mostly by his white mother, an atheist, and his grandparents, who were Protestant, in Hawaii. He hardly knew his father, a Kenyan from a Muslim family who variously considered himself atheist or agnostic, Mr. Obama wrote. For a few childhood years, Mr. Obama lived in Indonesia with a stepfather he described as loosely following a liberal Islam.

Theories about Mr. Obama’s background have taken on a life of their own. But independent analysts seeking the origins of the cyberspace attacks wind up at Mr. Martin’s first press release, posted on the Free Republic Web site in August 2004.

Its general outlines have turned up in a host of works that have expounded falsely on Mr. Obama’s heritage or supposed attempts to conceal it, including “Obama Nation,” the widely discredited best seller about Mr. Obama by Jerome R. Corsi. Mr. Corsi opens the book with a quote from Mr. Martin.

“What he’s generating gets picked up in other places,” said Danielle Allen, a professor at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, N.J., who has investigated the e-mail campaign’s circulation and origins, “and it’s an example of how the Internet has given power to sources we would have never taken seriously at another point in time.”

Ms. Allen said Mr. Martin’s original work found amplification in 2006, when a man named Ted Sampley wrote an article painting Mr. Obama as a secret practitioner of Islam. Quoting liberally from Mr. Martin, the article circulated on the Internet, and its contents eventually found their way into various e-mail messages, particularly an added claim that Mr. Obama had attended “Jakarta’s Muslim Wahhabi schools. Wahhabism is the radical teaching that created the Muslim terrorists who are now waging jihad on the rest of the world.”

Mr. Obama for two years attended a Catholic school in Indonesia, where he was taught about the Bible, he wrote in “Dreams From My Father,” and for two years went to an Indonesian public school open to all religions, where he was taught about the Koran.

Mr. Sampley, coincidentally, is a Vietnam veteran and longtime opponent of Mr. McCain and Senator John Kerry, both of whom he accused of ignoring his claims that American prisoners were left behind in Vietnam. He previously portrayed Mr. McCain as a “Manchurian candidate.” Speaking of Mr. Martin’s influence on his Obama writings, Mr. Sampley said, “I keyed off of his work.”

Mr. Martin’s depictions of Mr. Obama as a secret Muslim have found resonance among some Jewish voters who have received e-mail messages containing various versions of his initial theory, often by new authors and with new twists.

In his original press release, Mr. Martin wrote that he was personally “a strong supporter of the Muslim community.” But, he wrote of Mr. Obama, “it may well be that his concealment is meant to endanger Israel.” He added, “His Muslim religion would obviously raise serious questions in many Jewish circles.”

Yet in various court papers, Mr. Martin had impugned Jews.

A motion he filed in a 1983 bankruptcy case called the judge “a crooked, slimy Jew who has a history of lying and thieving common to members of his race.”

In another motion, filed in 1983, Mr. Martin wrote, “I am able to understand how the Holocaust took place, and with every passing day feel less and less sorry that it did.”

In an interview, Mr. Martin denied some statements against Jews attributed to him in court papers, blaming malicious judges for inserting them.

But in his “48 Hours” interview in 1993, he affirmed a different anti-Semitic part of the affidavit that included the line about the Holocaust, saying, “The record speaks for itself.”

When asked Friday about an assertion in his court papers that “Jews, historically and in daily living, act through clans and in wolf pack syndrome,” he said, “That one sort of rings a bell.”

He said he was not anti-Semitic. “I was trying to show that everybody in the bankruptcy court was Jewish and I was not Jewish,” he said, “and I was being victimized by religious bias.”

In discussing the denial of his admission to the Illinois bar, Mr. Martin said the psychiatric exam listing him as having a “moderately severe personality defect” was spitefully written by an evaluator he had clashed with.

Mr. Martin, who says he is from a well-off banking and farming family, is clearly pleased with his newfound attention. But, he said, others have added to his work in “scary” ways.

“They Google ‘Islam’ and ‘Obama’ and my stuff comes up and they take that and kind of use that " like a Christmas tree, and they decorate it,” he said. For instance, he said, he did not necessarily ascribe to a widely circulated e-mail message from the Israeli right-wing activist Ruth Matar, which includes the false assertion, “If Obama were elected, he would be the first Arab-American president.”

He said he had at least come to “accept” Mr. Obama’s word that he had found Jesus Christ. His intent, he said, was only to educate.
