Did Finn get Dan Quayle (who is a rocket scientist compared to Palin BTW) to help compose his thread title?

@nicole415,
Ha ha, so funny!

What a rapier wit!

Is there some way to ignore, in advance, chooch replies such as nicole's?

The new improved A2K should have a rules based engine that either strips out these useless posts or, at least, alerts us to them.

Then again, can we rely on A2K's rules to recognize objectivity?

@Finn dAbuzz,
You know about the ignore feature, right? Of course, it's user based and not content based, so don't know if it serves your purpose.

@Finn dAbuzz,
Step One: Click "nicole415."
Step Two: Click "Ignore user"
Step Three: Thank "Robert" (when you bump into him)

@FreeDuck,
But how do I ignore nicole proactively?

(Of course I can't but that's what rhetorical questions are all about)

@Finn dAbuzz,
You mean before you know that you want to ignore her? There's no technology for that yet. Otherwise you can click on her name and choose "Ignore User" as O'Bill says.

I'll give you a hint, I can see that you replied to her, but I have no idea what she said. And I like to keep it that way.

@FreeDuck,
No, there is technology for that.

It's rule based technology.

The problem is that people have to set the rules.

@FreeDuck,
Would be nice to have the technology that would predict her next altie, and proactively ignore that incarnation.

@Ticomaya,
This shape-shifting works on me.

It always takes a while for me to recognize them, or someone has to tip me off.

I guess it's because I'm so trusting.

@Finn dAbuzz,
Yeah, I meant that it would be pretty darn impossible to define rules that would effectively do what you want here. And if you know something about rules engines then you know what the pitfalls are.
