My first comic book, entitled ,"The Turtle", was published in 1968.
Are the two commas necessary? I don't think so.

Many thanks.

@tanguatlay,
you don't need one after the word 'entitled'.
the other ones are correct...

@Region Philbis,
Hi RP
My first comic book entitled "The Turtle", was published in 1968.
I've removed the comma after 'entitled'. Do you mean the comma after Turtle is needed?

Many thanks.

@tanguatlay,
If you have that comma after "The Turtle" you need one before "entitled".

@tanguatlay,
like this:
..... My first comic book, entitled "The Turtle", was published in 1968.

the commas allow you to remove that portion of the sentence without destroying it's meaning:
..... My first comic book was published in 1968.

@Region Philbis,
What happens if I write: 'The first book I have read is entitled 'The Turtle'?
Do I need a comma after 'entitled'?

Many thanks.
