@DontTreadOnMe,
No...you claimed that Palin faked a pregnancy to cover up her daughter's pregnancy (some even claimed that her husband raped her daughter), and you went on about THAT for several pages.

That is where you're wrong (among so many other places).

@Not a Soccer Mom,
Thank you for answering one of the q's posed to me about Palin's DS child; it's the republicans who are blathering that's one of her "qualifications" as a superwoman - and a pro-lifer.

Hawkeye, it was you I was thinking of.

if it turns out that this kid is hers, the very next step I guarantee you is questions about who the father is. In many cases the reasons the grandmother goes to such lengths to keep this secret is because the grandfather is the father...

Aren't you saying here that if she's covering up the pregnancy the reason might be because the grandfather is the father.....?

@maporsche,

Might be, I was not making a claim, was not charging Palin or her husband with anything. Words have established meanings, you are not free to make up new definitions to suit your purposes. My words do not match up with your paraphrasing of my words.

@hawkeye10,
Change my word "claimed" to "insinuated" if it makes you feel better.

It was still a disgusting thing to write; I'd be ashamed of myself had I done it.

@maporsche,
Quote:
Main Entry: in·sin·u·ate
Pronunciation: \in-ˈsin-yə-ˌwāt, -yü-ˌāt\
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): in·sin·u·at·ed; in·sin·u·at·ing
Etymology: Latin insinuatus, past participle of insinuare, from in- + sinuare to bend, curve, from sinus curve
Date: 1529
transitive verb
1 a: to introduce (as an idea) gradually or in a subtle, indirect, or covert way <insinuate doubts into a trusting mind> b: to impart or suggest in an artful or indirect way : imply <I resent what you're insinuating>
2: to introduce (as oneself) by stealthy, smooth, or artful means
intransitive verb
1archaic : to enter gently, slowly, or imperceptibly : creep
2archaic : to ingratiate oneself

I was very direct and clear, thus I did not insinuate....care to try again?

I wouldn't be surprised if Sarah Palin will abstain from the VP nomination
stating family related matters, and McCain will resort to the person he should
have taken in the first place - Pawlenty!

@CalamityJane,
CJ, Her ego won't allow her to abstain from the VP nomination; she wants to be in the history books of this country.

@cicerone imposter,
You're probably right, cicerone, but McCain's ego is bigger, and Palin is already
wounded prey.

@CalamityJane,
McCain is wounded too, but the conservatives have nobody else they can support on this election. That's the reason why McCain continues to have the 44 percent in the polls with very little movement. It's for Obama to lose; McCain already lost - and Palin is not going to change that.

I really wish I had never heard of Sarah or Bristol Palin and wish they would just go away. Did anyone notice how sad Bristol was at the VP pick announcement? I really feel for her, having such a nutjob for a mother.

The current speculation in the blogosphere is that Bristol is not pregnant and they will soon announce she had a miscarriage. Otherwise, we have to believe that McCain chose a woman who promotes abstinence only has a pregnant daughter and it hasn't even been revealed. What does this say about McCain's judgment. (Actually, what is says is that McCain is lying and did not know.)

Forgetting all of this, Palin is not in any way qualified for this position.

Oh BTW I am not a soccer mom, I am a hockey mom. Smile

LOL so much breaking on Palin that Huffpo has an entire page devoted to it.

It is looking more and more like my intuition was right.
