@spendius,
You never studied Genesis, heh? And that was a Catholic school?

What other fairy tale do you want us to believe?

@cicerone imposter,
I care not one iota what you believe ci. You already believe so many things that a few about me isn't going to make any difference.

Catholic schools are run by Orders. Some are more sceptical than others.

@spendius,
Of coarse not! You are one silly Brit who make statements that are lies or white lies. (You may have forgotten about the study of Genesis, cause it was so long ago - before your pub days.)

@cicerone imposter,
They study Genesis is universities and theological colleges. Not at schools. It's for Biblical scholars.

Provide an example of one of my lies willya--just for once.

@spendius,
Well, that's news to me, because when I attended parochial school, they made us study the bible - including Genesis.

@spendius,
Spendius I do have to admit that you come across as one who is well enough educated to know reality but yet you seem to preach deception. Not trying to be mean but honest

@cicerone imposter,
You couldn't study your big toe ci. Study is not your strong suit. The idea that you studied Genesis in parochial school is ridiculous. Were you ever a watching angel in a school-play crib scene at Christmas? Holding a stick with a silver star on top.

Spendius If there is one thing that I could teach the world it would be that I can be wrong and that I am at times.
If the rest of the people could understand this about themselves how much better off would the world be?
Being a absolutist is what warps the minds of the people.
cognitive studies have somthing to say about this philosophy!

@reasoning logic,
I was wrong on 7 out of 16 in rjb's Pick-Um game last week. In public.

What sort of thing can you be wrong about at times? You're being all gushing sentimental abstract with that mush. I think everybody is well aware that they can be wrong at times. Whether they can admit it is another matter.

What do "cognitive studies" have to say about the "philosophy"?

Will you tell me when I have shown any resistance to accepting a premise that it is in my best interest to let go of "truth owning." Some anti-IDers, and some IDers, would benefit from your link. Not me.

You're getting somebody else to do your woffling for you.

@spendius,
Good for you Spendius I was hoping that was not your case! by the way I still do not see how you were not amazed by the blond," not trying to put myself down but the girl is younger than me and so full of knowledge'
If you could not see it I can only guess that you have not studied enough of her work. I will add one more piece of her work but I think that she may be wrong here, "so I was hoping that you may be able to clear her up on this.

@reasoning logic,
It's a gimmick rl. A stunt. They used to have themselves thrown into swimming pools and their top come off.

Things are going downhill.

@reasoning logic,
There was a daring lesbian bodice doffing scene tonight in Coronation Street between two teenagers and as the camera pulled back on the half-open door there was an open book face down on a table in the foreground. It was The Holy Bible.

No accidents involved. A staged scene. What were the scriptwriters getting at?

That the bible includes stories of sodomy.

@cicerone imposter,
As do many other story-telling vehicles. A2K threads imply some too. The movie industry's products include many stories involving murder and cruelty.

I asked you to pass an opinion on what the writers of Coronation Street were trying to say by staging the scene so tenderly on the UK's most watched programme before the watershed.

@spendius,
Spendius are you thinking that the scriptwriters were trying to make it appear as though the girls just got through reading stories in the bible such as 1 samuel 18:1 and 2 samuel 1: 26 about the relationship between Jonathan and David and then after reading the two girls were aroused in such a way that it led them to doing what they did ?

@reasoning logic,
The Church has no position on lesbianism as far as I know. Why do you make the comparison with men?
