@farmerman,
Whether you noticed at the time fm or not, I made no comment about the way you and Setanta described the audience reaction and the discrepancy there seemed to me to exist between those comments and what I heard on the tape.
Are you saying that Mr Leckrone wasn't there or if he was he was understating for political reasons? And that you were not exaggerating for similar reasons. The article is certainly not friendly to Ms O'Donnell.
And Mr Leckrone is billed as a "scientist". I thought his words were pretty accurate from what I heard.
Are you saying the tape was doctored?
The "author of the piece" was not Mr Leckrone.
You said the audience "hooted and laughed" and that she looked like a "deer in the headlights". Then you said the audience was "stoked up". Setanta claimed he "nearly peed in his pants". You then said the audience were "hooting and laughing". Then Setanta said that the audience was "laughing" at Ms O'Donnell. Later on you said the audience was hooting booing and laughing ALL (your capitals) throughout the 10 minute exchange.
And you remarked that you lived "in radio distance from the whole spectacle" which is an unusual thing to say if you was there as it is unusual for you not to have said so in the first place but have now decided you should do.
The best that can be said about it all is that it's a bit iffy.
I heard or saw nothing to justify those remarks. Mr Leckrone has it right from my viewing.
