Hang in there, Jes. This is really day 1425 for me and I have 8 more gain days than loss days. Besides some of that number you are looking at is nice, new, heavier but sleeker, muscle. (!)

Hit a new low today. 174.1 more later, I'm at work.

HEY George!!!

HEY Joe!

bao, banana
sushi
granola bar
Coors Light
beef bourgignon, rice pilaf, fruit salad
gatorade

Code:Day: 2
Weight: 171.0

Ran about 3 miles at noon and did some weights at night.

Somewhat dramatic weight loss is explained by the fact that I had been
on an indulgent 4-day reunion.

362/174.1/-26 since starting this almost a year ago.
That's a half a pound a week average, right where I was hoping.

I'm working on my running and doing some arm and shoulder workouts, doing a bunch of crunches (50-100 a day) but I still have some belly.....arggh.

I am so grateful to all the people who came along with this public food diary thread. You all have been so helpful to me. I've discovered several ways of making things, good things, to eat, been inspired to try different food combinations (I'm making Frozen Bad Banana Ice Milk w/Blueberries right now.) and have shopped to put items up on my shelves that I might never have before reading about them here.

I just wanted to let you all know that Saturday, when the year ends, I am going to keep on posting. I look forward to it too much and (HEY< it works) so ....on we go.

@mac11,
Dragon eyes (also known as longan) are a fruit very popular with the Chinese
(my wife is Chinese). They're a bit like lychee, only smaller. This year there
seems to have been a bumper crop. The Lovely Bride bought a big bag of
them in Chinatown.
