I have been on a slow (I think it's slow) downward trend since June 1st.
Been trying not to have it be a teeth-gritting experience.
What's the news?
I'm at 195.9 after starting at 200.8.
To give some prospective, one year ago I weighed 186.00.

Hi all - I'm glad to see that you're still fighting the good fight. My weight is up, and it's interesting to go back and see that in general, I'm still eating about the same, but getting less exercise than I was when last I posted.

Currently at 180.6, which is down 108.8 from my official starting weight (way back in May 2005). And 20.6 above my goal weight. I've been within two pounds of that goal a few times, but not in over a year. I'm hoping that coming back here to be acountable will help me get there. So here goes:

B: banana, ff cottage cheese
E: Well, I'm sore enough to count this as exercise: prepped & painted the half bath with the assistance of my niece (finally - it only took me 14 months to get around to that)
L: patty melt, 1/2 order of sweet potato fries (took my niece out to lunch - this was my first burger & fries in about 6 months)
S: cherries, lite string cheese
D: brown rice, broccoli
S: ff greek yogurt, grapes

Day 1/180.6/---

@ossobuco,
I'm at the other end, watching to be sure I get enough good stuff. Fruit is a problem, expensive.

I am eating too many carbs and know it. I don't care about that re fat at this point, but that I get enough other vitamins in my food.

A typical recent day -
homemade whole grain sesame sunflower seed flat bread, microwaved

refrigerator soup - generally nutritious, sometimes more than others (tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, onions, parsley, beans du jour, chile, some pasta bits, yadda yadda)

a good day, pasta with a barking anchovy garlic clam sauce

dilute juices, from limes, lemons, etc.

A bit of wine or booze. I need the odd bit of joy.
