Yes, and so long as it is framed in terms of an argument, i am likely to continue to point out that she's as dull as dishwater. Her material is not of an original character, and her delivery is poor.

@Setanta,
How about adding a few 'IMO's in there. You're not the only one who gets defensive.

@Setanta,
I dunno, you just seem defensive.

Seeming and being ain't at all the same. Basically, i was just reacting to Thomas' "i love to argue just for argument's sake" persistence. I didn't intend to cave in to it, nor to you doing the same.

Anyway.... Does anybody know why she dropped off the screen, and what she's been up to this year? I didn't find anything by searching the web.

@littlek,
She does rock for me, too.

BTW, Set, she does take on stereotypes against males as well. Seen the one on the "dumb husband syndrome" in commercials? Where husbands are usually portrayed as dimwitted idiots who get everything wrong and can't take care of self....
ANyhow, maybe it ain't rocket science, but I like her style.

@dagmaraka,
I wasn't dissing her for her material (other than a lack of an original schtick), mostly her delivery.

@chai2,
I see that neither Thomas nor Setanta have answered your interesting question. So, even though I've not been a party to this fascinating discussion, I shall answer your question. No, I won't shave my chest hair because, IMHO, I look more manly with chest hair than I would if I shaved it off (an attitude of men of my generation, I suppose). And, no, I'm not being exploited by Bowflex; but I am being exploited by my health club and my personal trainer.

@chai2,
Who do I have to sleep with so they'll produce some new episodes of her show and put them up online?! All the bloody episodes are one year old at least.

Umm... I guess it doesn't work that way, non? Surprised

Has anyone ever heard of her? A friend of mine (male, by the way) just sent me a link. She is smart, funny and current in her feminism.

Thanks for the introduction to Sarah, k.
She's a delight.
Funny, with her finger on the pulse. (& the facts at her finger tips! Smile )
Best of all, she's so real.
