Ford is quoted religiously by car lovers and fans of the industrial revolution. To completely dismiss the man's genius is at least as dumb as his anti-semitism.

But that is a circular argument. "What sells magazines" is content that readers are willing to pay for.

In Europe, we have this thing called "irony". It's rather hard to translate into American. Roughly speaking, my remark means,"By humorously pretending to miss the point, I draw attention in an oblique way to H20_Man's actual missing of the same point, namely, that his table proves nothing."
