Saw this with great surprise when driving towards the freeway (was actually so surprised that I nearly forgot to take the photo )

If you have never reformatted your disks.. you can take it to certain photo supply stores and they can pull even temporary data from them.

yeah, don't go there, it's very boring. Disneyland is a better choice, it's very exciting.

Oh Walter, I so hope that you find the Acoma pics. That was one of the loveliest and spiritual experiences I've had while living in Albuquerque.

All the other photos are outstanding. I don't want this to come to an end.

More than 100 photos. It may be that I erroneously deleted them when renaming some. Or some other reason.

Not just rocks and sky - but some were really quite good.

Do an inventory of all your chips to be sure they're all accounted for. Maybe there is a stray one that you quickly tucked away in a pocket somewhere for safekeeping that hasn't been unpacked or laundered yet and it is still hiding there.

Also check the inside of any shoes you might have packed since the chip might have loosened from its hiding spot and fallen inside one and won't be discovered until you next try to wear those shoes.

First thing to do though, before starting the hunt, is to confirm whether you came home with the same number of chips you brought with you and or purchased while there.

On your hard drive, do a name search for one of the file names that they might have been labeled with in case your mouse pointer inadvertently dragged a folder full of them into another folder in error. I have a bad habit of doing that with some of the links in my browser's favorite's folder. I'll do a search for the missing favorites and find them in an obscure folder that I inadvertently misplaced them in.

Actually exactly 128 - some others on that chip as well (and I delete those I totally don't like every evening already).

Hmm, exactly what Mrs Walter said - and she knows me now for more than 30 years.

The chip was in the marked pocket for digital chips in my photo rucksack - I wonder, why I stored it there and not together with the others.

Feeling much better now!!!!

The Laguna Pueblo is situated close to the freeway ('Laguna Village') and not open to visitors.

But you can see it from a viewpoint ... and the tribe members sell their art from behind a fence there.

Hooray! Glad you found it.

I used to do those tricks to myself with rolls of film when I was using my old fashioned 35mm SLR many years ago. After a trip through Europe with BBB in the 1980's, I found rolls of exposed film in very unusual places when I got home and have no idea why I had put them there.
