Shewolf, you are very kind to ask, but I've gotten resigned to dying a thousand deaths each time I see my pic.

No need to die even one death. I, for one, really enjoy seeing the pics from the gatherings etc. It puts some humanization into the forum.

Everyone seems to be having a good time.

D & D have kangaroo paws in their garden!

Ya know - the trouble with great pix is that the rest of us don't dare to post! Embarrassed

On popular demand, now the Rio Grande Gorge (Taos)

When I drove to Taos, I actually visited the bridge after I had been to Taos Pueblo.
But since you asked for it ... (and additionally, I will one or two pics just for littlek, too)

This is Camel Rock near Santa Fe, a National Memorial

I thought this cemetery to be a nice ensemble together with the rocks

[All rocky pics on special demand by BBB]

The Rio Grande takes its way through the Taos Mountains ...

... but on the plateau just miles away from Taos, you hardly notice the river

Two years ago, I nearly missed the bridge - though dys had alarmed me before approaching it.

But now, some miles outside Taos, I made a stop there.
One of my travel guide books noted, you had to consider that you have to go up again when you went down to the river.
I really wanted to find out what this was proposed to mean in reality ... but unfortunately the way down was closed due to some danger ...
