Albuquerque and all that

Reply Sun 1 Jun, 2008 01:25 pm
NB: pics from A2K meeting in Albuquerque start here on the gathering thread.

I had had a wonderfull time in and around Albuquerque - during the time of the meeting there as well as the following couple of days.

This map more or less correctly shows where I've been - and photos will be posted from a couple of places around there.

Yes, yes, yes. Walter, did you go up to the Rio Grande and take a picture
of the beautiful old bridge there? (a bit outside of Taos)

I too am obedient in those situations. Good they have the signage.
(I remember that people used to and probably still do slip over falls in Yosemite due to a shallow pool looking nice and safe, but having a certain slippery footing.)

Glad you could post..

Some pics from the way upwards (the view was the same downwards - so I didn't take any photos then  )

Sorry for the bad quality, but I had to photograph through tinted, not the cleanest windows.

I am posting my question again. I don't think you've seen that, Walter.

I was particularly impressed with that photo, Walter.

Was that just a lucky shot?

I've waited every day with the camera quite some time ... but it was lucky, indeed, that they didn't fly away before I could make a 'shot'.
