Jon should have went. Why would anyone want him on the Jury? Andrew should have staied. So stupid. I understand that this way Drake has the upper hand, but why keep Jon now? Get the upper hand later. Get rid of Jon.

I use to like Lill now I can't stand her. These outcast need to get over themselves.

What have we learned, class?
Something we already knew.
What goes around, comes around it seems even on the Pearl Islands.

Lil looks Andrew in the eye and says "Remember what you promised me?"
and links up to knock him down.

Actually, this is all very much like real tribal behavior. There were three tribes, now the heads, Rupert and Burton, have joined together to kill off the other king.

It's time to go to the website and look at all the characters and predict their futures.

In some respects, this has been the most primal of Survivors, with alpha males calling the shots and dominating the competition.

If the battles for immunity are physical, Rupert and Burton will continue to dominate. I loved that Lil got to dump Andrew, but if she doesn't stop stewing, she won't be around for long.

Roberta: agree with you 100%. She and Jon are the dingy ones who can blow the whole thing because of their odd attitudes.
I have to keept reminding myself that all of these people have been outside in the elements for 20 or so days,(except for Burton and Lil, which is why I think the vote back in was so unfair) so they are going to do and think about things oddly.
Burton is handling this pretty damned well. He comes back he LISTENS to Rupert's explanation of his ouster and accepts it, then after winning immunity he bonds with Rupert as co-regents. Yeah, he got some good sleep while he was away.

But it looks like next week Rupert is being looked at again for ousting. I think that Jon may be kept around because all of them would like to picture themselves as the final two against him (the little weasel).

Lill' is a liar. According to Andrew on the morning show he said that he told Lill' that they were voting her off that night. She said okay and got a pile of wood and set it off to the side and said that she knew she was going and that was for them later. Andrew said he DID NOT want to vote off Lill'. He thought she was vital to the tribe. Everyone else wanted to vote her off. He had to go with the majority.

Lill' is a little liar.

Jon would want to get rid of Rupert because Rupert wants to get rid of Jon. But who is Jon going to get to vote with him? The Morgan tribe will not go with him. Burton might. Lill is too wishwashy she isn't smart enough to read people, so she would. Then there is the thing that Burton said on the morning show which was Sandra goes where she thinks is best for her so she might side with Jon. So far that is only two with Jon. Jon is gone or Lill. But Jon is more of a liability because no one can really trust him.

Whaaaaa! You took my prediction!

No actually, I think it's way too early to be sure about anything with this bunch and that guy Jeff, with his changing rules, is starting to get on my nerves, but that's never stopped me before......

Okay, I predict that by tonight at nine I shall have divined the final outcome of this show. I found my voodoo pin box, but I have to wait till sundown to take them out of the George W. Bush doll I bought at the drugstore. Laughing

Okay. Who's left:
Burton
Christa
Darrah
Jon
Lil
Ryano
Rupert
Sandra
Tijuana

Who's got a relationship
Rupert, Sandra, Christa,

(Burton)(Lil)

Darrah, Ryano, Tijuana

Jon

Who's the strongest in challenges? in order
Rupert
Burton
Christa
Ryano
Tijuana
Sandra
who cares after that?

Who is the smartest/best note taker?
Rupert (no kidding)
Sandra
Darrah
Christa

In the best tradition of anthropology, here is my quess:
Rupert (the Provider of Fish) adds Tijuana and Darrah to Christa and Sandra in an alliance of five. He already has the two strongest women on his side. That leaves Burton, his only real rival, with Lil who is a dip, Ryano and Jon. They knock off Burton first. Then Jon, then Ryano, and then Lil unless any of those four win immunity, which is really possible for Burton and unless he wins all the immunities till the end, he is gone (for the second time.) I can't believe that now that they are all competing head to head that there isn't some real resentment against both he and Lil for their re-birth.
When they get to the final five, Sandra works behind the scenes to ax Rupert when he fails to win immunity. That's leaves herself, Darrah, Tijuana and Christa. Christa wins every immunity to the end but in the vote Sandra wins by two votes.

Votes for Sandra : Jon, Lil, Burton, Ryano, Darrah
Votes for Christa: Rupert, Tijuana

okay. I have spoken.

Joe, Interesting analysis. Sozobe predicted the last winner based on demographics. She said that a young woman was due for a win. If it's possible for the producers to manipulate the competition, then I have to predict Rupert. The country is crazy about him. The show might lose viewers if he's ousted. If the producers keep the immunity challenges physical, Rupert has a chance. Maybe I'm blinded to the facts because I really want him to win.

Yeah, I'm choosing this time based solely on demographics, as well. I think Osten was supposed to win, a new demographic -- young black guy. Lacking that, the only new demographic I see is Latina.

I totally, totally think the outcomes are manipulated. I don't, for example, think that the entire plan for the season is set before shooting starts ("first we will have this challenge, then that challenge...") I think that rather they have a whole range of options and some very complicated charts, and choose challenges and plot twists based on what they want to have happen. And then also edit for maximum intrigue/ suspense... strong competitors are edited to seem less so, etc., etc.

I also think Rupert and Jon will make it to the final four, but that's because they are the ones everyone is talking about, not demographics.

Survivor: Pearl Islands is a bore. It started out great but right now I can't even sit and watch for a whole hour. It's not surprising anymore and the twists and events aren't that exciting.

Actually, the twists and turns are pissing me off. It's like watching a chess match and in the middle they say "Well, just for fun, we're going to add a couple of knights and bishop. what say?" Twisted Evil

My picks for who I'd like to win are:

#1 pick = Rupert. I'd like to see someone who is a genuinely nice guy win, plus he is no shrinking violet and while he plays the game he does not intentionally rip the others to shreds or backstab to get ahead. However he is a huge threat to everyone else and I think, sadly, he will be gone soon.
I LOVE RUPERT !!!!

#2 pick = Tijuana. I like what I have seen of her so far. She is going to get more into the game in the coming weeks I think. However I do think that the producers do have something to do with the outcome so I am not sure if they will allow another black young woman to win since Vecepia won Survivor Marquesas.

I'd like it if they kept Burton in for another couple of weeks since he is nice to look at! Okay okay, mama needs some sugah! Laughing

I detest Jon which is why I think he will turn up in the final two Rolling Eyes
