Well, I don't get to vote, since I'm your basic very ex catholic with no personal real understanding of the region, however much I've read a bit. I see a lot of bombast on one side, by Zippo, while I'm interested in the peace interested people, however wary, of both sides, however many sides. I started out extremely pro israel, forty years ago, and have modified my views heavily over time.

But I'm no blanket conveyor of insults. People who live one place or another aren't monolithic, however much media portray them as such.
And rigid enemies can often share deep wishes for the well being of their loved ones and their communities.

By the way, so theres no misunderstanding.My paternal ancestors all became Christians so they wouldnt get pogrommed all over the place in their hood of Lvov.

Well, I skip zippo's posts, haven't read them in at least two years, I don't think, probably more, so I can't testify... I'm just not very interested in the views of people who seem entirely target oriented. As in, the PODS are here.

I also skip Rama's, for different reasons related to clarity and everpresence. (Funny I should say that, since I somewhat revel in unclarity, and I post a lot, but, hey, there are degrees.)

I think Zippy is going to have an epiphany one day and become the Gandhi of the Palestinians, but Rama's cluelessness is forever.
