There are 6 billion people on the planet, each with their own unique definition of God. Just like the people involved, no two definitions are exactly the same.
To answer any question or debate any point, you'll have to tell people what definition you're talking about, or people will have no idea what you're saying.
I rarely have any idea what i am saying
DUDE!
I speak of the Christian God, I thought that was clear!

Falicy number one, you ask about God than you proceed to talk about the bible. What if anything does the existence of a supreme being to do with the mythical bible any bible?
You are confusing the concept of a supreme being with man made religions.

No it was not clear. However, if there is a God he is not exclusive nor is he as portrayed in anyones bible. I should note that he was God of the Hebrews first.
The Christian God is no more. The great horny alien god destroyed it in the great god destruction of '89.

The "supreme being" i am talking about basically lives through the bible.......it is suppose to be the "proof" of his/hers/its existance. So if the book that provides the "proof" is full of easily noticable errors, chances are that the "supreme being" isn't real.
And i should note that your are annoying to me!!!!!!!
There is no supreme being, live began on happenstance.
the reason you and I are here is because of a series of "accidents"!!!!!!

Quote:And i should note that your are annoying to me!!!!!!!
If you think this is annoying you are in for a rough ride on a2k
"A serious of accidents"
I never thought about the collective noun for a bunch of accidents before, but serious will do fine.
Is Zack Taylor real btw?
Most people are not Christian, but let's assume that one billion people are.
And let's assume there's only one Bible.
One billion people would read the Bible one billion different ways, not counting the second time that they read it.
So we're still stuck with: Which Christian God are you asking about?
If you can't define your own word then you can't talk about it.
The only problem with that is about 80 percent of the Christian followers never read the bible. They basically get "brainwashed" by their parents, and their parents by their parents.
"It just seems to me, like such a joke, every new walk through life. Just inherits Christ. You should have to prove something first."
And i am talking about the supposed "Supreme Being"!!!!!!!!!!!
They don't need to read the Bible -- they get doses of it over the years by the likes of Cecil B. DeMille and company with the Classics Illustrated style of movie making. The crucifixion has been filmed how many times? And now yet another, violent and bloody version is upon us from none othr than Mel Gibson. It's his Road Warrior Christ.
But didn't ever want to play Christ -- and in "Signs," he was trying on the milquetoast character portrayal for size. Richard Burton did a much better job of the disillusioned, moody ex-minister in "Night of the Iguana."
