@H2O MAN,
Scan the internet, and one can find some very disturbing stuff in regard to voter fraud. I am wondering too, did they ever get those military ballots out to the soldiers, from all around the country. I find that to be more than insulting to our soldiers, to everyone for that matter. Some of those election officials must not have a conscience?

I saw one comment somewhere that Holder sent out observers to make sure illegals and dead people, would not be harassed such as asking for their I.D. at the polling places. Laughing

Even with fraud however, they may not be able to hold off the landslide?

At least it looks like Florida has kicked out that pathetic whacko radical Alan Grayson out of office.

Senator-elect Rubio from Florida said it best yesterday.

He said that both parties share the blame for the problems with govt right now.
He also said that the repubs have been given a second chance to prove that they are the party they say they are.
I have a feeling that if they dont govern like they say they will, it will be a long time before a repub sits in the WH again..

PS, Cyclo you were half right, so far.

@okie,
You do realize that is a county that went heavily GOP, don't you okie? Voter fraud in GOP district? Who do you think committed the fraud if it occurred?

But as to the allegation, I am betting no charges will be filed because there will be no evidence other than some tea partier who made up stuff.

What is it about you people that hate some women? Conservatives do not hurl those kinds of insults at even the most liberal and radical Democrats, such as Michelle Obama. We might critique what she says and does, but we don't call her a witch. Some of you have weird attitudes about people, honorable people. This has also been demonstrated in the liberal reaction toward Sarah Palin. It isn't merely political disagreement, it is outright vicious hatred.

Some of the lefties really show their true colors of late.

@okie,
Okie, I gotta say it is not just some liberals that behave this way. If we expect the liberal members here to show respect in regards to the way they denigrate people, then we need to also call our fellow conservatives to do the same. Have you not seen the way Obama's name has been made fun of (Oinkbama anyone?)

You've just got to accept that some people are childish and think they are being oh so clever when in fact they are showing only their asses. And doing that cuts across party lines from what I've seen on here.

But overall, I agree with your observation. We just can't exclude any one side from being guilty of this.

@CoastalRat,
Good point Coastal Rat, and I have in fact told somebody else here that posts anti liberal stuff to not use the term he had used. I basically said that a term like that was not appropriate for any president, no matter their party. I also observed to one poster that implying it would be okay if the Arizona governor committed suicide, that such a comment was way over the top and I asked every poster to condemn her, liberal and conservative, but to my knowledge not one liberal ever joined me. It is fair to say my criticism of the conservative for name calling the president was not answered either, but I have not noticed anything real bad lately.

Just as an observation, simply walking through a bookstore during the Bush presidency was revealing in terms of the hatred for the man. I don't think most conservatives hate Obama, they simply very much disagree with him and fear his policies, so the opposition to the Democrats right now is very strong, but not hateful. I think there is a big difference.

@okie,
I think that you ought to look at the way that both Hillary and Nancy Pelosi have been treated by many members of your party over the years, Okie - and that likely includes you as well, though I haven't gone back and looked - before casting such aspersions.

@okie,
I guess some of us were just brought up to show respect to others and their views even when we disagree. It is, I'm afraid, what is missing from much of political discussion these days.

Does anyone believe for a second that Cyco would condemn his parties treatment of Palin?

@Cycloptichorn,
I do not like Pelosi or Hillary much, nor do I care for their politics at all, but to my knowledge I have never called either of them a witch or some other very derogatory term. In contrast, I seem to recall a Tea Party or conservative candidate called the "bit...." term recently by somebody in the news, and I don't think that has been unusual at all. Liberals love women unless they are conservative women, and then it turns to vicious hatred. Why is that?

@Cycloptichorn,
Probably the same way Palin, Bush, etc. have been treated by yours, Cy. We can play that game all day long here, but to what purpose. Neither side can claim total innocence just as neither side can be painted as totally guilty. I think most of us here know who the offenders are on both sides.

Just an observation, I haven't listened to Rush much lately, but I have heard him say in the past more than once, that liberals become very hysterical, even comical in their panic, which includes hatred, when their side begins to lose politically. This issue will be interesting, and instructive, to watch as the next 2 years and beyond unfold.

I still remember whacko comedians making jokes about Bush needing to be assassinated, yet the mainstream media would not condemn the crap, and in fact they would think it was amusing. Conservatives noticed this and have not forgotten it. They have monitored this stuff and have learned more about where the hatred in this country really may reside, and what political philosophy to be most suspicious and fearful of.

@CoastalRat,
CR, That's what debate is all about; it's about making statements that are true or untrue, and it's up to the opposition to prove them wrong or erroneous by context.

Can you show us when okie has made statements that should not be questioned?
