{{{{{{{{{{ Rockhead }}}}}}}}}} One of the sweetest guys on a2k.

There was lots of car talk, as Rockhead and Dys have a mutual fondness for the old, classic sports cars. So much mention of numbers and letters---LX >6, six liter, 400 horse power. It all made as much sense to me as what I just posted above, but they were having such a good time that it was a conversation I could enjoy without knowing much of what they were talking about.

We made sure Dys had time to rest between talks. Like osso said, the Flying Star Restaurant seems like a lovely place to eat, so we took rockhead there while dys was resting. It should be a definite place to visit in May. It has a large patio and allows dogs out on the patio if anyone is bringing along a furry critter.

The weekend was a wonderful way to get to know one person at a time. Now I'm hoping that we can arrange for small groups to come over to that we can keep it calm and easier for a real conversation rather than the large party segmented conversations that never seem to go anywhere.

Dys blue eyes were bright and alive as they talked about everything.

That is a sight I love to see.

First I would like to thank my hosts.

More wonderful people cannot be found.

I will respond more about my trip, and wish to soon, but I'm beat. I am a man of few words so as not to be a man of many typos, but I will say this...

Any of you that get the opportunity to spend quality time with the lovely souls that treated me to a slice of incredible perspective this weekend, should take the opportunity to enrich their inner spirit as I did.

I have a feeling these two will be hilarious together. The May roundup already has built in entertainment...putz and schmuck. The dynamic duo.

By the way, msolga, shewolf was right about me. I'd been trying to hide the fact that I am a kitchen gnome but now it's out and I must say I am proud to be a vertically challenged kitchen gnome. You'll have to check the cabinets when you get here--there are many very funny gnomes in the cabinets. They like to play with Dante.
