Dean needs to have a little talk with the Gentle lady from New York.
I don't think she will ever concede. If the democratic vote is close, she will demand recounts until hell freezes over.
I think all talk of Hillary being beaten already is premature.
But it's possible. And becoming more possible every day.
"Possible" isn't in question. "Already beaten" was what I was addressing.
Who said she was already beaten?
eoe, fer christ sake. Roxxxanne has been very obviously beating her chest like "Uh-oh! Watch out Hillary! Your ass may be grass!"
Yer saying you didn't notice that?

Do you remember the voting machines ( about 27 in total ) that "disappeared" and were later found in Lake Michigan, when votes were being counted in Chicago during the 1960's election of Kennedy for President?
By the way, the last issue of the Chicago Daily News appeared in 1978. At that time, there were 3 daily papers in Chicago.
Please stop Roxxx,
You are not doing Obama, or the Democratic party any favors by gloating.
Hillary is a fine candidate (certainly better than anything the Republicans have) and it is disappointing to many Democrats that she is not doing well. She deserves respect and her supporters deserve understanding.
As this gets settled, no matter who ends up winning, Democrats are going to need to band together and win the General Election (and Congressional elections which are just as important). We need Clinton supporters and Obama supporters for this.
As this winds down, let's be happy that there were two decent candidates in a race that only one can win.
What good is spitting in the faces of people who are on our side?

So Hillary "hip-checking" to BETTER candidates like Biden and Dodd, who have more experience and better qualified is a sign of a good candidate?
Obama can not beat her enough.

I haven't been here much the last few days and honestly, I didn't notice that Roxxxanne had a theme going. I just kinda jumped into what appeared to be an interesting but hypothetical thread.

Another interesting fact: if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does.
There are too many large primaries left to justify her withdrawing. If the situation were reversed, we Obama supporters would be very angry if he were to withdraw while still so close to the possibility of winning the primaries.
That being said, the pressure being applied to which ever of them ends up second will be enormous for them to withdraw before the convention or, if not then, after the first vote and before it gets turned over to the uber super delegates to decide.
Hillary touts her strength in being able to not only withstand but also thrive against adversity and mean-spirited fights so I don't think those pressures will have much influence on her and we'd be stupid to use them. She won't withdraw. She'll have to be defeated.

I couldn't agree more; I wish people on both Hillary and Obama camp would calm down and think about the party a little.
Yes, EOE the voting machines were found in the Lake, the votes were counted and...Kennedy won Illinois via Cook County.
More interesting facts to follow.
Hillary may be down, but she's surely not out...
Yes, the Chicago Daily News did stop publication in 1978 and my post was to EOE, who at one time didn't know that at one time, there were 3 daily papers in Chicago.
It's important to study History.

Nonsense!
This must be an ancient Bo-Hunk joke!
